***THE OFFICIAL Superbowl LVII PLAYOFF THREAD****
Who are you rooting for?
I am back and forth about Houston. I think I want them to win. I am gonna join the Bills Mafia for theses playoffs. I am am huge Josh Allen fan. And I freakin hate the stEAlers NFC side. I would love to see the Lions pull this off. I also like the 9ers |
No Houston. In the division? No thanks.
Lions or Bills. I would be good with 49ers as well. |

I do expect 2 very good games today |
o
First and foremost, anybody except for the Ravens. After that, I wouldn't mind seeing the 49ers win it all, the Lions make it to the Super Bowl, or the Steelers and the Cowboys playing in their 4th Super Bowl against each other. o |
o
By the way, I think that the thread title is missing an "L" in the word "playoff", unless there is a gambling pool that I don't know about. o |

I have fucking HATED the Texans since their inception and the Browns game fucked us royally this year.
I hope they go into overtime tied 0-0 and beat the shit out of each other for 5 OT's until there are no bodies left... then the refs can throw a flag on Darrell Baker and finally let CLE kick the game winner. I can't really root for another team, but I suppose the Lions would bother me the least. At least they're an underdog franchise. |
According to statistical categories that have defined the vast majority (think 90% or greater) of Super Bowl winning teams, it will be the 49ers or Cowboys.
|
I would love to see the Bills finally get one. Should have won one in the four year span they got there.

The Steelers-Bills game was just postponed until Monday, due to the weather. Bills-Steelers Playoff Game Postponed to Monday (By Adam Gorski) https://www.wivb.com/sports/buffalo-...ned-to-monday/ o |

On a similar note ...... From 1970 through 1978, there were no Monday Night Football games for the final week of the season. Starting in 1979 and through 2002, they had Monday Night Football games for the final week of the season. Starting in 2003 and through the Present, Monday Night Football games were once again discontinued in order to not put potential playoff teams at a disadvantage, especially if they had to play on Monday night and then come back and play a post-season game only 5 days later on a Saturday. o |

49ers Lions or Bills Hell no to the Rams, I hate LA teams. |
This is a pretty good game

Where the hell is the Browns defense?
|
Stroud is a fucking maniac!

Maybe the Colts Gus Bradley isn’t a terrible coach

The Browns are such frauds. Lmao.
|
I am always in the Bills Mafia when they aren't playing the Colts.
And in the NFC, I would love to see the Lions make it to their first Super Bowl. And I have no ill will towards the Texans. Glad they beat the Browns, who didn't deserve to be in the playoffs anyway. |
o
I want the Chiefs to win the next game, because I think that they have a better chance to beat the Ravens in either the divisional playoffs or championship playoffs than the Dolphins do ...... I think that the Chiefs and the Bills are the 2 AFC teams that have the best chance to beat the Ravens. o |
Definitely rooting for the Bills and Lions, but I think we'll see the Ravens and 9ers.
Dallas has the talent to make it, but they typically shit the bed against good teams. Also, the Bills play to their competition, so I wouldn't be surprised if they struggle against and possibly even lost to the Steelers on Monday. |
Peacock streaming is at least 30 seconds behind the real action. Pretty sad and makes it difficult to do any live betting.
Hope this was a 1-time experiment. |

So, they are making customers pay more money by putting games on streaming channels, and giving them shittier service for those extra dollars ....... that's progress. o |
WOW. didn't expect the blowouts
|
I will say Stroud (while he did not win the game). Is for real! Get ready to battle AR!!! Gonna be a fun few years

The Dolphins looked absolutely horrible against the Ravens in the 16th game of the season, a game in which the #1 overall seed in the AFC was on the line for both teams ...... and they followed that up with a loss to the Bills in a game in which the AFC East division title and the #2 overall seed in the conference were on the line for both teams ...... subsequently, I was not surprised at all when they were beaten decisively yesterday. And yes, the Chiefs had been struggling considerably in the W-L column late in the season, but all 4 of their losses in that span were very close games ...... plus, the Patrick Mahomes factor is similar to the Peyton Manning factor in that they are both All-World QB's who can almost single-handedly carry an average team to the brink of Super Bowl contention. o |
The way the Browns and Dolphins played proves to me that the Colts are not that far off.
One play maker to improve the passing game and one play maker to stop the passing game and we can compete with anybody. |
Quote:
The Colts were one lousy ass pass and still catchable ball from beating the Texans twice. Beat the Steelers and Ravens. Actually beat the Browns, but lost to the refs. Gotta beat the fucking Jaguars though, they're not that good. AR coming back will be a big boost to this team. Minshew is, well, he's fucking Minshew. |

Steelers W Ravens W Browns L - Refs W Texans Split Rams Overtime loss Bucs W Of course, we got blown out by a couple of teams that didn't even make the playoffs, that's the maddening issue. |
o
While the Ravens are the best team in the AFC, they also have the most pressure of them ...... in addition to having failed to advance past the divisional round of the playoffs in the Lamar Jackson era (2018 - Present), their biggest nightmare would be to lose to the Steelers 3 times in the same season. o |
Look on the bright side: we could be the Dolphins who, if you listen to 2/3 of their fans today, need to fire and replace a GM, HC, and starting QB... the three of which were favorites for Executive of the Year, Coach of the Year, and MVP according to many of those same people just three weeks ago.
Gotta love the off-season. |
