Games of interest for our Colts
Tits lead the Texans 6-0. Another missed extra point.
I feel filthy rooting for the Tits. |
o
I love those Oilers uniforms. o |
Tits now lead 13-0 after a pick 6.
|
I'll have to take another shower after rooting for those queers.

I guess it's similar to the Baltimore-Indy connection and I suppose it's Houston's fault for letting them go. And if they weren't getting shit on all the time locally, I probably wouldn't have started following IND in '95. |
Bears leading the Brown Stains 14-7.

Well, damn Tits.
Tied at 16. |

Case Keenum is the guy whom I proclaimed would have a longer and more distinguished career than Andrew Luck ...... one of many times in which I was wrong. o |
Refs are fucking the Tits right now. It's a shame that these bastards decide so damn many games.

The Texans winning this game is not necessarily bad for the Colts ...... in fact, it might be good. We beat the Texans once already. If we beat them again, we won't have to worry about them, anyway. Also, if we wind up in a 2-way tie with the Bengals, the Bengals will necessarily have the tie-breaker over us because of that ...... but if we wind up in a 3-way tie with the Texans AND the Bengals, then the Colts will have the tie-breaker because of a better record among the 3 teams. The Colts would be 2-1 in such games, the Bengals will be 1-1 in such games (they lost to the Texans), and the Texans will be 1-2 in such games. So my suggestion would be to not necessarily go pulling your hair out if the Texans wind up winning this game ...... it just might wind up helping the Colts more than hurting them ...... and more significantly, the Colts need to win their own games instead of wishing and hoping that they get the maximum amount of help from games that are being played elsewhere. o |
Minshew is better than Levis.

If Ron Carthon called up the Chris Ballard and offered to trade those 2 players for each other, I would want Ballard to accept that trade in a second. o |
Well, Browns are now tied with the Bears.

On a side note Autry just got his 11th sack of the season for the Tits. We definitely fucked up by letting him go. |

Beat the Texans, and that win by them just now could only help the Colts ...... lose to the Texans, and we aren't going anywhere, anyway. o |
The refs fucking over the Colts in that browns game is going to come back & haunt us

Oh well. Hopefully they take care of Atl next week. |

Meaningless ??? Based on what ??? Did you not read my previous post, in which I explained in detail why a Texans loss was not necessarily better than a Texans win? The Colts are 8-6, and there are a slew of teams that are even with them or just ahead of them in the standings. In addition to the Texans there are the Bills, the Browns, the Bengals, the Broncos, and the Steelers that are all tied or within a game of the Colts and of each other, and subsequently there are at least 12 different scenarios that could wind up playing out by then that could factor into if and where the Colts fall in the AFC post-season seedings. Plus, the Colts still have a reasonable chance to win the division if they win out to finish at 11-6 and the Jaguars lose 2 games. The Colts could be 10-6 heading into that final game, they could be 9-7 heading into that final game, and they could be 8-8 heading into that final game. And in the first 2 scenarios (10-6 or 9-7), there is almost no possible way that the Texans losing that game against the Titans just now would have wound up making the Colts' 17th and final game of the season meaningless. A division title and/or a Wildcard berth and/or a playoff seeding will be on the line when the Colts take the field that day, unless the Colts lose their next 2 games to fall to 8-8 and get mathematically as a result. o |
Bills up on the Cowboys. 21-3 in the 3rd quarter and Dak is getting pummeled.

With a Houston win today, there are almost as many scenarios in which that last game will be meaningless for the Colts ..... and the chances of that last game being meaningless for the Colts is about 1 in 50, regardless of the outcome of today's Texans-Titans game. "Meaningless" means that the Colts would be locked into a specific playoff seed, with no chance of going up or down in their seedings ...... and the Texans losing today might change that possibility from 1 in 50 to about 1 in 45. If you read my previous post, I hope that you understand that the Colts and the Texans are not playing in a vacuum in the AFC, and that the Bengals, the Browns, the Bills, the Steelers, and the Jaguars all have a hand in the outcome of the Colts' chances for a division title and/or a Wildcard berth, and/or what seedings the Colts would get in the playoffs should they qualify. o |
I guess I should have wanted the Bills to lose today, but any week America's Team loses is a great week.

Well, now let's have the Ravens beat the Jackoffs, and it will be a great weekend of football.

Collingsworth is more annoying than usual tonight....his mancrush on LeMar Jackson is getting a little creepy!

Looks like there is a 3 way tie for first place in the AFC South, Jags have the tie breaker against us, we have the tie breaker on the Texans, and the Texans and Jags split so I'm not sure who is technically in first?

The Jaguars' next game is against the Buccaneers ...... the Buccaneers are a relatively respectable 7-7, and are riding a 3-game winning streak ...... they would like nothing better than to win that game to take a stranglehold on their sub-par division. Also, I believe that it would be important for the Buccaneers to run the table and finish at 10-7, which would not only give them a 6-game winning streak to end the season, but also add some credibility to their AFC South division title. o |
Minshew has to raise his level of play, I know he is capable, but he just doesn't seem to put a complete game together! Our defense has slipped the last few weeks as well, they were playing much better earlier in the year!
Like Spike said....we should be leading the division right now, and there was at least one more game that we let get away. Shane has done a hell of a job with this team, but there is still a large gap between the Colts and the top teams in my opinion! |
