Colts Twitter says JT injured
Thumb way it sounds

Damn, it's always something. Depending on what it is, a jacked up thumb could easily stick him in a full forearm cast for a couple months. If not surgery/IR.
Of course I'm going there because why else would it make news unless it was the worst fucking possible scenario imaginable for this team? |

Given he still played and played well in the 2nd half after th einjury happended in first half; I wonder if just some TLC and conservative treatment like immobilize the digit until game time may be enough rather than surgery and IR for Gawd´s sake.

It's Zack Moss time.
Irsay says that Taylor will have surgery on his thumb and will be out a few weeks. https://twitter.com/RomeovilleKid/st...05548172030177 Quote:

At least it wasn't broken requiring a cast. I guess they're going to wait to see what the playoff picture looks like after TEN, CIN, and PIT before deciding when/if he's coming back. Maybe?

we are in good shape with moss

Shit. That’s fine. Better than a ligament in his knee or something.
I think all of our expectations are realistic enough that while the playoffs are certainly fucking awesome, a deep run is improbable. Im happy he’s looked good and worth the $ while he’s played. Let him heal up and let’s see what happens. |

Zack Moss Will Take the Lead in Colts’ Backfield (By Nate Miller) https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/news...-backfield.php o |

Looking at this through my extremely blue-shaded sun-glasses, this could be the best thing that happened to the Colts ...... it will ensure that Zack Moss will gets LOTS of carries over the next 3 games ...... in back-to-back games against the Panthers and the Patriots he had a grand total of 8 carries (1 in the Panthers game, and 1 in the Patriots game.) Subsequently, if Zack can get lots of work and simultaneously hold down the for while Jonathan Taylor is out, we will unquestionably have 2 running backs whom will have plenty of reps heading into the final stretch of the regular season and the playoffs. Now ...... off with my blue-shaded sun-glasses ...... I am hoping and praying that Zack will be able to hold down the fort in the 3 games in which Taylor will miss, enough so that the Colts will have an overall record of at least 8-6 (or perhaps even 9-5) by the time that Taylor returns for the Falcons game. o |

Rapoport is reporting that the Colts are optimistic about Taylor's progress and that he could be back next week.
