Snap counts= fire frank reich asap!
So, Hines was not seeing the ball because of Wentz. So, we have to make him a focal point of the offense with Ryan's precision and timing. In "training camp" (which by the sounds of things from local reporters was more of a social gathering with a somewhat frequent gathering of men to grab ass and talk about culture), Hines shined. Yep, Hines, being the dynamic weapon he is, gonna be a big piece of the puzzle. Yep, our only reliable WR is out, definitely gonna need to get the ball to Hines more.
JAX OFF SNAPS: Campbell= 43 - 86% (not a single touch) Taylor= 37- 74% Dulin= 32- 64% Granson= 27- 54% Allie-Cox= 27= 54% Patmon= 24= 48% HINES= 15- 30% The only 2 players that could touch the ball either running or receiving with less reps than him= Woods at 8 snaps and Jackson with 2 FUCK THIS GUY, FUCKING SEND HIM PACKING THIS VERY MINUTE- HE IS WORSE THAN AWFUL AT THIS SHIT! In week 1, and granted we had many more snaps, Hines had 26 snaps, which was still below 30% of the offensive snaps and again the only 2 players below him were Woods and Strachan. This is insanity! Sorry folks, if you still support Frank Reich for any type of coaching position in the NFL, you qualify as a dumb ass- this dude is LOST in his little bubble wrapped world of analysts and laminated play sheet- he has NO IDEA what is actually happening out there. |
JMV brought this up on his show, I somehow seem to have missed it, but in talking about how the problem appears to be Frank, he brought up The Maniac's quote heading into the Jags game. He said this quote sounds like Frank talking through Leonard's body, and he is right. Frank Reich has destroyed the passion of this team, he absolutely MUST be removed!
“In my mind, it’s just another game. All you hear is about Jacksonville last year. It’s like talking about your ex-girlfriend when you’re with somebody new. You gotta learn from your ex, make your life better, and just continue to get better from there. We’re not focusing on that. We’re just stacking the days up and want to continue to get better in practice, then hit the game ready to rock and roll and hopefully come back here with a dub.” |
Not just me- everyone with eyes can see it. Except the bum that is Frank Reich.
https://sports.yahoo.com/frank-reich...104418371.html |
This statement from that link just shows how unprepared Reich really is and how he basically is a stupid ass.
"It was Thursday, and I was thinking Alec and Pittman were both playing at that point,” Reich said. “We find out Friday that Alec’s not playing and Saturday, Pitt’s not playing. It would be harder to adjust Nyheim to that at the end of the week, and it’d be easier to adjust the (other) receivers.” Just sick of Reich's excuses, he just needs to get the fuck out of here. |

WHAT? Somehow the day of the week has a bearing on which WR's can be included in the game plan?? Please Jim, please, can this fucking moron right fucking now! This is insane! |
The focus is on Frank supposedly being an idiot. I get it, that’s the current answer. Where the fuck is the outrage that after two games the teams leading pass catcher is it’s backup RB and the lack of WR talent and production is so clear that you guys are saying it isn’t enough? That’s what I get from that article. Come on, that’s fucking crazy. And it’s far from the first year it’s been a problem. I guess maybe that means Reich should be used to trying to manufacture WR talent by now, but fuck.

Campbell was targeted twice. Was the perfect opportunity for him to show up and he puts up a goose egg.

I've been thinking about this a lot. Irsay apparently got so tired of the bickering between Pags and Grigs that he felt they both had to go. I kinda feel like it's the same thing here, only they are TOO aligned. My read is neither of them is willing to challenge the other and so their mediocrity is magnified. In fact, and yes I am an extremist in this regard but if I'm Irsay, I've already decided that at 4 PM Sunday, one of them is getting fired. If we win, I'm shit canning Frank because it will again signify to me that he manages his guys to the level of the competition, which you just can't have in a leader. If we lose, then Ballard hits the floor because it's 5 in a row and clearly I have been sold a line of shit about how good some of these guys are (QB, LT, WR, DE)- so get the fuck outta here. |

Still would love to see / hear a review of the 22 on the WR's. |

Not for week 2, because the O-line never game Matt Ryan or the recievers time to throw/complete routes. |
Just FYI, position coaches, not the head coach, or the Coordinators, are responsible for playing time.
Position coaches are the ones who rotate players in and out during the game. It's the whole reason Brian Baker was fired last year. Because his rotation of the D-line was atrocious. So the RB's coach (Scottie Montgomery), or even the WR's coach, (Reggie Wayne) if he lines up at WR, have to put Hines on the field for specific plays/drives. |

When multiple departments fail at once, it's the CEO that takes the hit. Tired of all of our struggles being someone other than the head cheese. This QB, that coordinator, this position coach, the day of the week, the wrong kind of gatorade. Somewhere the buck stops with the guy who was given the title as HEAD COACH. Frank appears to be the shining example of great coordinator, terrible HC. |

Having worked with a lot of these same type of people I get the sense that both perceive themselves to be on a level of intelligence that others just can't appreciate. As such, they don't listen. They hear, they nod, but as soon as the conversation ends, all that diaglogue= gone, because they know best. In due time that sort of attitude leads to a general malaise that sets in where people stop even trying as they know it's not going to amount to anything. And that's EXACTLY where I think this team is with Frank, I don't think players even care at this point. He's got his plays, his boys, and he is going to run what he, as the genius that he is, believes will result in excellent results. These type of folks never accept they are failing, instead believing that they are "this" close to turning the corner, and when they do, lookout, best shit you've ever seen is going to happen. Far too frequently that corner ends up being a big ass circle of futility. And to me, that's exactly what Frank's doing, just creating a circle of suck because he can't listen to others and looking at the results at several positions, Ballard seems to be doing exactly the same thing. |
Quote:
I will say Ballard lays out his thinking process extensively in interviews and doesn’t admit when he is wrong. Which is the opposite behavior from control freaks I have worked with. So 🤷🏻*♂️. My problem with him is not addressing holes properly. |

Heard this on the radio this morning.
Rainman got his first snap with the starting O-line, on the 14th day of camp. Through camp and pre-season, he logged 5% of the first team reps. However, in the 1st game of the year, there he is, getting reps with the first team. Now, hear me out. I believe he is probably a better option than Pryor. However, if the COLTS thought that, then he should have gotten a hell of a lot more than 5% of the snaps heading into the 1st game IF they planned on giving him snaps- AT ALL (throwing injury causation out the window- this was a choice). Who is in charge of this clown show of a team- rotating your LT for an old statue of a QB in his very first professional game? And please, save me from the "well that's a personnel coaches move not Frank's". I am so sick and tired of this excuse. It was used all last year with Wentz and his penchant to check out of calls Frank made- not Frank's fault that the QB keeps changing plays===== MY ASS IT IS NOT! Frank is the big dog, shit doesn't go down without his nod of approval. So IF you absolve Frank of this lunacy with Rainman because of the OL coaches decision, then it's an even great indictment of the guy and yet another red flag that he has no concept of what is happening out there during the games, during the film study, during the game planning, nothing. If so, then what the fuck good is he? Of course if he is part of the consultation that sits down and plans to do this with a rookie LT, well then again, Fuck Frank Reich. My guess is it is this scenario and he sat down with the analytical guys and said "build me a model on the optimal stats for Rainman to work with the 1st team... oh and can you put it on a neat laminate that I can stare at in awe... thanks" |

Anybody thing Rogers sniffs the field? Pisses me off what they seem to have done to this guy. He looked like he was on his way to being a solid, maybe more, cb.

"He needs to be on the field," Colts free safety Julian Blackmon said. "That's as blatant and as simple as it is." Our fucking coaches are so damn ignorant. |

Dude is in serious trouble. Don't think it is out of the realm of possibility that if we throw out another clunker today, he is out. When players are talking like this outside the locker room, the locker room is ripe with discontent. |
Quote:
After 2 weeks are the defensive players already souring on Bradley? Clearly Rodgers is the better player and has done nothing but make plays when on the field. |
Quote:
Ballard is trying to build an NBA team, not an NFL team. Hell, I bet if Tyreek Hill was available, Ballard would say no to him, he's too short. It's really fucked, that players see it, but our braintrust can't. |
Quote:
I will again push that beyond Bradley however. At some point Frank's job is to make changes vs doing the same shit. Seems to be one of his worst traits is just ridding with shit that doesn't work vs demanding change. Simply seems to be way too complacent for my liking. |
I don't for a second believe it is Bradly's 'fault'. He is doing what he was hired to do and doing it badly. The whole organization has this mindset. It is rotten from Irsay on down. Nobody is accountable in any real day to day. I am sure it is Bradley's decision not to play Rogers but he sits in an organization where that kind of idiotic decision seems to be supported by the organization, otherwise how the hell does he make it? It is hard to stomach this.

Hines touched the ball for the 1st time with 5 mins to go in the 3rd Qtr.
He was on the field for 21 snaps= 32% of the offensive snaps. This guy looked destined for greatness. Has shown snippets of being dynamic. He was regarded as a potential Darren Sproles clone. Last year his lack of involvement was blamed on Wentz. No, his lack of involvement is either because he suddenly sucks at football, or because his head coach is a fucking moron; I am going with option # 2! Oh and there were 3 players that got less snaps than Hines. Dulin and Strachan were two of those 3. The other, none other than Woods who logged a whopping 15 snaps. Ya know, the guy who scored 2 TD's the week prior, that looks like he could be a truly special player, who is huge, fast, and appears to be good at football, yeah he got 15 snaps. Frank Reich is the biggest problem this team has by a wide margin! FRANK REICH FUCKING SUCKS! |
I have never been an overact knee jerk kind of guy. I have never been the one to say fire a coach during the season, but I will admit after last year and start of this year I can get on board with it.
Start playing all young guys, and trade some players of value for draft picks, and hire someone who knows what to do with those draft picks. Ballard is excellent at evaluating certain positions, but is woefully horrible at some key ones. |
I don't think we need to fire Reich yet. I think taking the play calling out of his hands makes a lot of sense.
We seriously can't run a screen, the kind of play that Hines (and our OL) is built for. When we are throwing a 0 yard pass to an unprotected WR, we should not be exactly wondering how they sniffed it out, they just tackled the guy in front of them. |

In my rat's ass of an opinion, a clone of Bill Walsh or Vince Lombardi wouldn't be able to do a lot with this team ...... the offensive line, in particular ...... with them blocking for the QB's and the RB's, it really doesn't matter what kind of plays you call, and/or how often you call them. o |
