Missed FG fucked the Tits too, GOOD!

apballin 09-11-2022 08:37 PM

Yep after all that bullshit

This team will improve I was encouraged to see Matty late in the game make big throws

Taylor knocked the rust off

We’ll be fine

I’m certainly more encouraged now after rewatching the game. The Colts did a lot of things really well and they should get better. They just could not quit stepping on their own dicks.

Still an inexcusable result though.

The Titans losing is really the only silver lining on the day.

Surviving the preseason without any major injuries is more important than being rust free this first game. No doubt having none of our star players play any meaningful minutes during the preseason was a factor. Getting the "Shaq Attack Maniac" back will also make a huge difference on defense!

Best start the Colts have had in nine years.

Jags are handling the Chargers. Herbert is missing throws badly.

Racehorse 09-25-2022 05:38 PM

as of the early games, we are in the seventh spot for the playoffs, lol. we control our own destiny.

Jags might actually be a good team

Yeah they have a LOT of very high end young talent- with a real coach they could emerge as a big problem.

Yup, that could take a tiny bit of sting out of that loss last week. Not really, but still.

YDFL Commish 09-25-2022 06:46 PM

Beating the Chargers 37-10, tells me that they might be a pretty good team.

Is it safe to say yet that the Jaguars are much better than some of us thought?

AFC South won 3 games against the AFC West today. Fucking crazy ass world of NFL football I guess.

Yes, we also need to rethink the last week of stupid posts probably.

Maybe but we still shouldn't have gotten blanked by them.

No, and the team still looks like horse shit against them, but it is better to have looked like crap against a good team. This team has some shit to figure out, but maybe it really isn't time to blow everything up yet.

Maybe. The fact that they skull fucked us after losing soundly to a bad Commanders team pointed to the fact that we just shit the bed down there just like every single year for the past near decade. After today, maybe all of those top 10 draft picks they've been accumulating have finally added up to something.

Well, they didn't lose soundly to WAS. They were winning basically all 2nd half until 1:46 left in the game. WAS hit a 24yd TD on 3rd & 8. Pretty close to winning that one, too.

I mean, the AFC South went 3-0 vs. the AFC West this weekend. Broncos beat the Texans 16-9, so it's 3-1 overall so far. That wasn't supposed to be the case.

Every team in the AFC South has a losing record.

https://www.nfl.com/standings/

This is arguably the worst AFC South season in the 21-year history of this division, since it was created with realignment prior to the 2002 season.
