2022 Draft
Who are you looking at? Who do you hope for?
And please use a simulator (even though they are not very accurate right now)but they do eliminate players available, and show you who is available etc And don't come up with stupid shit picks Also if you draft for need over BPA/need. you're a retard |
I get that we need playmakers on offense
BUT. We will never compete in the playoffs without a shut down secondary. The gauntlet in the the playoffs is brutal in the AFC Better be able to slow these other teams down to win. I want defense in the draft. Then again. I always do. CB's Dline and Safeties But will always look at all positions if a good player is available |
Christian Watson.
|
2nd round: Kyler Gordon CB
3rd. round: John Metchie III, WR After that I have no idea. Not sure any of these will even be there for us, but it's who I like and can be there, maybe. |

Just did the PFF draft simulator which was only 3 rounds and picked Nick Bonitto (Edge Oklahoma) at 42 and Carson Strong at 73. Neither is an immediate need (although it's always good to add pass rush), but like you said BPA.
|
And here's my 7 rounder at profootballnetwork.com:
42. Alec Pierce WR Cincinnati 73. Carson Strong QB Nevada 122. Darian Kinnard OT Kentucky 159.Charlie Kolar TE Iowa State 179. Amare Barno EDGE Virginia Tech 216. Jaylen Watson CB Washington State 239. Allie Green IV CB Missouri |
Man I don't even give a F to run a simulator or name a name- just get Ryan some people to throw the ball to, period. I don't give a damn if he uses every pick we have for a combination of WR and TE's- quit ignoring their importance!
|
Talking heads are saying this is a good draft for WRs.

My simulation:
I did not like any trades offered. Rd 2 - #42 - CB Roger McCreary, Auburn Rd 3 - #73 - TE Jalen Wydermyer, Texas A&M Rd 4 - #122 - WR Wan'Dale Robinson, Kentucky Rd 5 - #159 - S Smoke Monday, Auburn Rd 5 - #179 - OT Obinna Eze, TCU Rd 6 - #216 - WR Jerreth Sterns, Western Kentucky Rd 7 - #239 - WR Bo Melton, Rutgers I really like McCreary and I like pairing him with a lower round safety from the same school. Wydermyer is one of the most complete TEs in the draft and I see a "Jack Doyle" like effect by him. Throw the dart at the board on WR and hope that one or more of them stick! |

A 14 member draft class?!? That would blow my rookie pool pay calculations right out the window! :) |
I believe that if we could find a dynamic TE at pick 42, the need for a receiver is hugely negated. Campbell, has looked really good when he gets on the field, I also like what I have seen from Dulin. The rest of the guys are just potential, and we do need to look at someone in the 4th or 5th rounds in case Campbell yet again is unable to stay on the field consistently.

There's really a player named Smoke Monday? And he's a DB? I mean, fuck that guy if his team ever plays on MNF. I mean the headlines write themselves, don't they? "Smoke Monday is Toast on Tuesday", or "Smoke Monday gets burnt again". |

We are taking a CB, S, WR, and TE in this draft and some backup ol as well. It’s a great draft and you can find good players on day three. I think we have gone to the pro day of every WR in the top 150 and also looked at a bunch of TEs. Rankings seem to be all over the place. I see guys on here going in the 7th but I don’t think will last past the 5th. So actual player order seems to be subjective.
Rd 2 - #42 WR - Skyy Moore, western Michigan (reminds me of TY) Rd 3 - #73 S - Kirby Joseph, Illinois (6’1, wingspan of 6’8) Rd 4 - #122 CB - Cordale Flott, LSU Rd 5 - #159 TE - Grant Calcaterra, SMU Rd 5 - #179 WR - Bo Melton, Rutgers Rd 6 - #216 T - Luke Tenuta, UW Rd 7 - #239 T - Patrick Paul, WKU |

Moore would be a good 42 pick IMO. Joesph too Funny how limited your choices are if you run these and can't just pick people out of the clouds to be drafted. I actually think this is about how the draft lys out. Although. Was Rainmann available when you picked Moore? Maybe he would be the pick. IDK |

My first choice is George Pickens. I think he is a first round talent that could go in the second. If he is there I hope they grab him. |

David bell and Trey McBride are the 2 I’m hoping for

I'm getting the feeling we should come out of this draft with either a new OT or a stud WR.

How about both? |
