This will be a good measuring stick to see whether and/or by how much the Titans have slipped. Niners have been getting better, and they could win this, or the Titans could re-find themselves and control this game. It will be interesting to see which.

is henry supposed to come back this year?

I have been looking for information on Henry’s return and haven’t found much to go on. I think they have been keeping it hush hush on purpose. Could be any time though.

Thinkin I read somewhere recently that Henry was likely coming back anytime now but all quiet as of late so anyone´s guess. Hoping the Tits get spanked either way.

Hoping we are the 5 seed and the tacks are the 4 Or vise versa. I want to beat the living shit out of them in the playoffs

If we are fortunate enough to win our division, we could very well wind up being a #2 or # 3 seed. The AFC North has 4 solid-but-unspectacular teams, and we own a head-on win vs. the Patriots.

I understand your desire to beat the hell out of the Titans as payback for the 2 regular-season losses that they laid on us, but I would prefer getting the highest seed possible, regardless of who our first-round opponent winds up being.

If we win the 1st playoff game we could be playing at home for 1 game maybe more after that depending on the outcomes.

Cardinals 31, 49ers 17: ) With a chance to salvage its season against injury-riddled Arizona, San Francisco instead appear to be destined for its 6xth losing season in 7 years. Through last season, the 49ers are 1-11 playing at home in Santa Clara. Losing to a Cardinals team that started Colt McCoy at quarterback and Antoine Wesley at receiver makes the loss look all the worse.

I'm glad that we played the 49ers when they were playing badly ...... and I'm glad that we won't have to play them again until and unless both teams make it to the Super Bowl.

Damn, the 49ers drove down to the Titan 10 and Jimmy G threw a pick.

At the end of the 1st quarter, the Titans appear to be out of their league in this game.

Jimmy G just had a wide open receiver that would have been a TD. Damnit.

49ers keep shooting theirselves in the foot, but end up with a fg. 10-0 49ers.

That was a weird one. If the LT doesn't grab Dupree he might kill his QB. And then he doesn't even get the offset penalties. They just throw out the offsides.

The only reason why that guy committed the offensive face-masking was because the defensive lineman was off-sides in the first place ...... that's just bad luck, as opposed to Garoppolo throwing the INT on the previous drive.

They would likely have blown the whistle for a clear path to the QB and gave the 49ers 5 yards...but when he grabbed the face-mask, I guess they had no choice but to call the penalty.

They didn't blow the whistle ...... that was the problem. Because the play was allowed to continue, the offensive lineman had no way of knowing whether or not the offsides was going to be called, hence his instinct to protect his quarterback. The offsides occurred first, THEN the facemask penalty was committed.

Titans committed a penalty that ended up costing them points.

49er defense is playing well.

Sf defense is struggling on third and long like we have done a lot.

It's quite possible that Jimmy Garoppolo is a very talented QB who happens to suck ...... those 2 notions are not necessarily mutually exclusive, although they usually are.

This feels like one of those Colts games, where the 49ers are going to make their fans fret before finally claiming victory ...... the wins over the Bills and the Jets were exceptions to that rule, as both of those games were over long before the final whistle was blown.

The 49ers could do us a big favor tonight, and we could return that favor on Saturday....that would be the perfect outcome!

Jimmy G needs to be looking for a gig in the G League...
