Colts practice squad defense vs 49ers practice squad offense official game day thread

Wake up freaks

rcubed 10-24-2021 10:10 AM

Terrible.

I submit “will the colts storm into SF and blow the 49ers away”

omahacolt 10-24-2021 10:13 AM

thats a good title. mentions the colts and niners and has the word official in it as well as game day thread.

A-

only could have been better if you could have made fun of the niners more. but really good job on the title.

CletusPyle 10-24-2021 10:33 AM

I believe the Colts have a decent chance to steal this game...they have been so close multiple times, I say today they get it done!

Colts And Orioles 10-24-2021 10:56 AM

The Colts were 11.5-point underdogs against the defending NFC Champion 49ers in 2013.

Let's do it again in 2021 to get Colts fans' hopes back up again, just like they did in San Francisco 8 years ago.

I'm usually a pessimist, but I think the Colt's win this one easily 31-17.

omahacolt 10-24-2021 11:12 AM

i predict a complete failure by the defense at the end of the game to let the niners kick a game winning field goal

After tonight, the Colts' next 3 games are against the Titans, the Jets, and the Jaguars ...... if they take care of business today, the near future may not look so bleak after all.

Calling for rainy windy weather, we have Nelson and Taylor

They don’t have Trent Williams or Mostert

Colts win an ugly one

21-7

Brylok 10-24-2021 01:37 PM

Titans are dominating the Chiefs right now.

Luck4Reich 10-24-2021 01:44 PM

Really frustrating watching Autry get in Mahomes face nearly every play and Ballard didn't want to pay him.

CletusPyle 10-24-2021 01:50 PM

It's hard to admit....but the Titans are a pretty damn good football team! They are also physically able to take a hit and get up for the next play!

And just as I say that the guy doesn't get up...maybe I should say more nice things about them?

Chiefs just are not that good this year.

Their defense is 2x more frustrating to watch than the Colts D. And that's saying a lot.

Titans are a lot better at home than they are on the road. And they were fortunate enough to get Buffalo and Kansas City at home in back to back weeks.

Also, they’d be nothing without Derrick Henry, who somehow never misses a single play despite being the most physical player in the league.

But they’re winning their games. Have to give them credit.

Having said that, KC is REALLY bad. Like, how can they be that bad, bad. That defense is the worst I’ve ever seen.

Luck4Reich 10-24-2021 02:03 PM

Mahomes has really come back down to earth this season. 6 straight games with an interception.

Still a very good to great QB.

Luck4Reich 10-24-2021 02:05 PM

Henry is ridiculous.... But if he got injured for the season the Titans are done. Everything goes through him and I don't blame them.

Luck4Reich 10-24-2021 02:06 PM

Julio Jones was a very good pick up for the Titans.

Mahomes is pressing because he feels like he has to score on every drive. Which he does. If he gives the ball up, he’s going down 7 more points almost guaranteed.

Again, the Chiefs defense makes the 06 Colts regular season defense look like the 85 Bears.

Let's see if that is true!:D

1/2 true......

TheMugwump 10-24-2021 03:21 PM

Hey, flipping through the other games using the STRTV app, and caught some of the Bengals/Ravens. If you haven't seen Ja'maar Chase yet, this kid is going to be the best WR in the league in a very short time. He is just fantastic. Hands, speed, balance, and toughness.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

CletusPyle 10-24-2021 03:43 PM

That is about as uninspired a game of football as I have ever seen a professional football team play....I am referring to Kansas City's performance against the Titans!

I thought you were referring to my fantasy football squad. But yeah, the Chiefs D reminds me of the 1962 Mets for ineptitude.

nate505 10-24-2021 04:15 PM

Sounds like it's going to be raining cats and dogs tonight.

Chromeburn 10-24-2021 04:42 PM

Unless Derrick Henry goes down with injury. I don’t see us catching them. They are just the better team right now. If we were healthy I would give it 50/50, maybe 60/40 us, but we are not healthy.

I remember watching Henry in college but media always seemed to rave about Leonard Fournette. I would watch them bama and LSU play and I always came away thinking Derrick Henry just looks like the better back. See that playing out now in the league.

I agree...the AFC South gets joked about a lot but in my opinion the Titans are a top 5 team right now, they are thin and can't afford injuries, but from what I've seen this season the Titans can compete with anyone!

Spike 10-24-2021 07:40 PM

Fuck you Ballard, you should have resigned Autry and Houston.

I still dislike Rodney Harrison.

Edited for 4000 post lol

Autry has 3.5 sacks this year, two of them today. He was average here, still average with bigger paycheck

Colts And Orioles 10-24-2021 08:17 PM

The Bengals beat the hell out of the Ravens today, 41-17 ...... it appears that the verdict is still out in terms of how good (or how bad) most teams are in the AFC. As good as the Titans looked today against the Chiefs, it must also be remembered that they lost to the Jets. We certainly have gotten off to a crappy start with an overall record of 2-4, but there is still time for this team to evolve into one that can finish off games with wins, as opposed to just one that gives teams like the Rams and the Ravens a good run for their money.

Ugh. Hate night games. Our goose is pretty much cooked at this point. I'll be watching passively.

Houston didn’t want to stay. Reports were that he was pissed about Luck retiring and was only here because he thought we were contenders.
