another foot, unbelievable.

Well if its a season ender, then this means that was the end for Campbell and the Colts.

I think he has one more season after this one on his contract. Shame. He is just snakebit.

I looked it up on spotrac and he's signed through 2022. Unrestricted free agent in 2023. Looks like we're stuck with him. It's a shame, but I wonder if we can just cut him after the season. Obviously not while he's injured. I assume we'd have to eat the contract and take a cap hit?

Hoopsdoc 10-18-2021 05:37 PM

He sure as hell didn’t look hurt when he jumped up to celebrate.

He didn't have this trouble in college. He missed one game due to a sprained ankle.

And that covers his entire injury history at Ohio State.

No need to cut him. If he recovers and his rehab is looking OK, I am sure there will be at least one team that would trade a late round draft pick for him as a lottery ticket.

However, next year will be his contract year. If he produces next year and another team signs him the following offseason, the Colts could potentially receive a comp pick.

...or roids-brittle.

This is why Pascal is on the team. Less talent, always ready.

Probably how he got hurt lol

Chromeburn 10-19-2021 11:43 AM

TY is likely going to retire next year. Maybe they can get another year out of him. They need to invest in another wideout. Can't count on Cambell, and you can't have just Pittman and a bunch of dudes. If Pittman goes down we are truly screwed.

Oldcolt 10-19-2021 01:51 PM

As a fan it is irritating that Paris cannot stay healthy, it must be devastating for this young man. My heart goes out to him. I'm hopeful that this is just a run of bad luck (he wasn't injury prone in college) and he can have a successful career. I agree with everyone, however, who states that the team needs to go forward as if he will not available, hoping that this is wrong

LG Quenton Nelson, DE Dayo Odeyingbo and WR Dezmon Patmon will return to practice this week.

Quote:

WR T.Y. Hilton will not practice today, RT Braden Smith will not either.

Colts aren't ruling out either of them yet, but they won't go today.

Quote:

Reich on Smith's injury and not placing him on IR: Says 9 out of 10 times, doctors give the estimate and it ends up on the shorter end, but this is the one time it's on the longer side.

Colts can't put him on IR now because they're still thinking the injury will turn.

Quote:

Worth noting: If Quenton Nelson is back Sunday night — I bet he plays — the team still wants to get Chris Reed on the field. Mark Glowinski will start at right guard, but look for Reed to get some snaps behind him. Reed's been terrific in Nelson's stead.

Oldcolt 10-20-2021 03:23 PM

Would love to see Reed replace Glo at guard when Nelson returns. We need our best five out there

ukcolt 10-20-2021 03:38 PM

Glowinski has been fine the last few weeks. The entire line has been good other than Fisher, since Pryor has cemented the RT spot.

What might be interesting is if Fisher still struggles and Braden Smith returns, whether they try moving Smith to LT, and keeping Pryor at RT.

Reed will give rest to the others as needed, maybe even in the jumbo package as an extra OL.

YDFL Commish 10-20-2021 06:14 PM

Where does this leave Pinter? Is he strictly a Center now or is he a disappointing draft pick?

Puck 10-20-2021 10:52 PM

Why in the hell would you replace Glow? He has played well.... VERY well..... Ya'll need to watch the line more

Glow has had a backup RT next to him all season and done very well

I like Reed love him on the team. e is great depth! Something we need at other positions

Reed is one that Ballard hit on for depth

Not having Campbell OR Hilton is gonna be tough. There are really no other deep threats on the team.

If we are lucky the weather may make that a moot point

CletusPyle 10-23-2021 11:16 AM

I hope they consider using a lot of screens and utilize the TEs more...Doyle use to be Andrew's go to guy and as I say every week, all the cheerleaders I have spoken to this week are clamoring for Mo Cox!

(I'm going to keep putting this comment out there till it gets the love it deserves!)

With a name like CletusPyle you must be a Festus Haggen and Gomer Pyle fan. I know I am.

The Colts activated Big Q from the IR and officially placed Julian Blackmon on the IR in the corresponding move.

They also elevated WR Keke Coutee and S Josh Jones from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

Or "he plays for the Colts, which means he is constantly injured, as has been every Colt player for the last 10 years"

Irsay really needs to investigate the water supply or something...
