Give me 3 predictions for the season

56 days till the season starts. Give me three predictions for the upcoming season.

1. This is the farewell tour for TY Hilton and maybe Jack Doyle too. Hilton probably won’t be resigned, but Doyle will have his largest cap hit and we have some big upcoming contracts to hand out. Maybe a retirement?

2. The pass rush will decline some. A healthy Turay will help and I’m not saying the rookies are busts. But they do not make up for the 15 sacks we saw go out the door. The passrush will be a focus for next offseason as well.

3. Despite some setbacks, we still win the division and make it to the second round of the playoffs.

Just fucking with you, I struggle with that one as well when not actively editing as I write.

1. Carson Wentz is solid, not great. Borderline top 10.

2. Colt's lose at least one game because we have a bunch of anti-vaxxers.

3. Nelson is an All-Pro.

Ironshaft 07-20-2021 10:19 AM

1. Wentz is not an MVP candidate but is in the talk for one of the most improved in the NFL and is considered a top-ten QB.

2. Colts running game battles the Browns for top rushing attack in the league and edges them out at the end of the season for top yardage honors.

3. Colts win the division and make it to the AFC Championship game.

Racehorse 07-20-2021 11:17 AM

1. We have two 1000 yard rushers.

2. Our defense will be very stingy with points.

3. Specs will be well above 50% over 50 yards.

(and I agree with Butter about the difference between resign and re-sign. That always gets on my nerves.)

I think I let auto-fill do that one. So yeah I'll just blame apple.

1. I predict outrage if we lose by 3 or less

2. I predict outrage if we only win by 3

3. I predict the "Fire Frank thread" will start before the end of the 1st quarter
of the season.

PS.....

4. Colts will go 12-5 win the division but there will still be doubters

Brylok 07-20-2021 06:59 PM

1. Wentz will struggle a bit early, but by season's end be in the conversation for Comeback Player of the Year.

2. Colts will win the division for the first time since 2014 (unless covid prevents it).

3. Parris Campbell will get injured again and wash out of the league. I hope this doesn't happen, but...

TheMugwump 07-20-2021 10:21 PM

1. Indy's O-line is below league average until Fisher is ready to play.

2. Campbell plays at least 14 games and has over 1,000 yards receiving.

3. Colts lead the league in games missed because of Covid protocol.

apballin 07-20-2021 10:38 PM

1. Colts win AFC south

2. Wentz will throw 35tds

3. Paye will break Freeneys rookie sack record

Colts And Orioles 07-20-2021 11:48 PM

o

1) ) The Colts will play the Patriots in the AFC Championship game.

2) ) If Number 1 comes to fruition, nothing else matters, does it ???

3) ) See Number 2.

Past is prolog…….

MeSayDayo 07-21-2021 10:09 AM

1. Granson will be a pleasant surprise, putting up 40+ receptions, 500+ yards and 5+ touchdowns

2.Turay and Lewis will take a step forward and show early why they deserve another few seasons here

3.Ya-Sin will take a step back and get replaced in the starting lineup by tell or some journeyman.

rcubed 07-21-2021 05:26 PM

1. Wentz will have a solid year
2. Pittman takes a big leap
3. Our pass rush wont be much better this year(but will be better in a year or two)

Colts lead league in rushing
Colts have worst pass defense in the league
We wish AV was back on the team.

YDFL Commish 07-22-2021 05:42 PM

  1. Wentz oet performs 2020 Rivers
  2. Kwity Paye doesn't get huge sack numbers but exceeds in hurries & QB hits
  3. Marlon Mack gets traded befroe the trade deadline

I already do. Miss his little piss missile baby draw 50 yarders in the 4th and just knowing it was good.

Rodrigo is accurate but hits a low ball. Seems reliable enough but I guess we will see. Its hard to trust a guy, even a kicker, who is 120 pounds soaking wet in a snowsuit. If he is the last man standing between a kick returner and the endzone...he wont stand for long

They all cant be Hunter the Punter

Hoopsdoc 07-27-2021 05:13 AM

1. Colts will start slow. Either 1-4 or 2-3.

2. They’ll lose an o-line starter to an extended injury early. I mean other than Fisher.

3. Wentz will mirror the teams slow start but will improve steadily as the season goes on.
