Anyone hear the Will Carroll JMV segment tonight?

You can listen to it here:

The comments about him seeing several specialists and no definitive diagnosis among them and the Colts subsequently wanting him to throw... wow, if that's true, well I'm sure it's fake news of course, of course it is...

Will Carroll also says (on Twitter) that Pagano is definitely done. Irsay doesn’t want to fire in-season to indicate to potential candidates that he’s willing to be patient. And there’s a short list of candidates that wouldn’t surprise us.

IMO, probably Toub, Gruden, Harbaugh at least.

We don’t know the context. If Luck just needs to work through the scar tissue and throwing wont do any damage, then he should be throwing. That’s just one of any number of possibilities.

Ya know, we don't know the context and that's fair, but...

The reports, even from Ballard are he has seen specialistS.

One can only reasonably deduce that all these specialists are going to pull MRI's- either trusting one already done or more than likely given their specialty- having one conducted by their hand chosen MRI tech.

So, if Carroll is correct- and none of these specialists are saying the diagnosis is "XY and Z", then that, to me, says there's not a medically identifiable problem that is preventing him from throwing the football.

That in turn sure does seem to lend some credibility to the "between the ears" comment from Jim some months back, and that to me, lends a lot of credence to Luck possibly just looking at this whole cluster fuck of a shit show and saying "wow, my shoulder really hurts, I don't think I got this in me right now"...

Yeah I know no one wants to think that a real possibility, but just look around at the global dysfunction of this organization- it's a train wreck and getting sacked 10 times in a game- not gonna do a reconstructed shoulder a whole lot of good!

I have never met Andrew Luck and don't know him. But as much as you can tell someone's personality through the media and how he handles himself on the field, I would bet anything that if Anderw says he's hurting, then he is hurting.

I listened to the podcast about 30 minutes ago. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Luck is done. I hope like hell he isn't, but I wouldn't be surprised. Kid might choose to retire.

I'd like to know how Big Jim feels, knowing that he might have ruined Lucks career by hiring the two most enept people in Pagano and Grigson !!! GREAT job, Jim !!

It's obvious Jim has stopped caring, otherwise he would have fired Grigson sooner than he did, and Pagano should be gone already, too.

I have no idea what to think of any of this anymore. I think there is some credibility to the "between the ears" stuff just because of who's saying it. JMV doesn't overplay his Colts inside scoops, but he's rarely wrong (if ever) and has been hinting at that.

I still don't think Luck's career is over, but the more discussions that are going on about the possibility really starts to make you wonder if there may be some truth there.
