First Down

Brylok 01-05-2019 06:56 PM

Inman has been a really good signing

Dewey 5 01-05-2019 06:56 PM

Luck thought about it & said nope aint doing it.

Luck4Reich 01-05-2019 06:56 PM

Inman is killing Jackson

Yup, was that missing link between the rookies and vets.

Dewey 5 01-05-2019 06:57 PM

Get it in range for AV.

Screw that. Get a TD for TY

Dewey 5 01-05-2019 06:59 PM

well damn

daedge 01-05-2019 06:59 PM

Dammit. Frustrating not to kick a FG there.

WaynesWorld87 01-05-2019 07:00 PM

Come one Rogers...

He tried to cut it up field for a second. He could've turned it left and ran right out of bounds.

Chromeburn 01-05-2019 07:00 PM

Damn, ok beer run!

Thorgrim 01-05-2019 07:00 PM

Just glad we got the stop on Houston.

Brylok 01-05-2019 07:00 PM

Love, love, love it so far! What a performance! Don't lose focus and slip up 2nd half! I'm pumped!

Rogers is seeing his last snaps for this team in all likelihood.

Sometimes the best passes that a quarterback makes are the ones that he doesn't throw ........

On 3rd down and less than a minute to play in the half, and his team up by 21 points, Luck took the sack instead of risking a fumble or an INT.

There was a defensive holding call which gave the Colts the 1st down, but the larger point is that Luck made an experienced decision (as opposed to a 1st or 2nd-year player decision.)

ABC is stuffing in so many ads it's cutting into the game broadcast

Nothing but coaching can save Houston and I can’t see Reich getting out coached by O’Brien at this point.

When the Colts called timeout, there were 12 seconds left ........ but Reich saw to it that the referees put 3 extra seconds back on the clock, because he had called timeout immediately and the timekeeper was late with the stopwatch.

The antithesis of Chuck Pagano.

Up 4 scores would have been nice

Puck 01-05-2019 07:06 PM

Smitty mentioned the lost TO due to the bad challenge.... should have been a 3 there

IDK, maybe.

Three targets today, three catches. Fifty-three catches on the season. He has the numbers of a decent #4 receiver. The drops (knock wood) have definitely dropped off the last month or so, and he's made a difference. I think he's on the team next year, along with TY, Inman, Cain, and either a rookie or FA. Too much to add to the defense to get two new receivers next year.

Brylok 01-05-2019 07:07 PM

I heard they're having some trouble selling all the tickets for the college championship game. Outside of the two fanbases, nobody is interested in Clemson vs 'bammer

GoBigBlue88 01-05-2019 07:07 PM

This is still very much a game. HOU moved the ball easily last drive. Errant throw on a good call got them off the field. Feels like pissed-off Nuk puts this back in play. IND offense better be ready to score 2-3 more TDs...

Technically, 24-0 is up 3 scores.

Technically.

:D

I thought that that challenge was worth it when it was made.

The Texans were sinking fast, and if that called was overturned, they would have been in deeper shit than they already were in.

I'll be the first to criticize Reich when he makes a rare bad decision, but there is no way that he could have foreseen that situation, which occurred more than a quarter of the game later.

Reich actually got 4 seconds back. They moved the clock back to 16 seconds.

I don’t agree.. Texans Offense was moving the ball and it was very close to not a catch. Gave Defense a chance to catch breath and regroup. Houston failed to score. Splitting hairs here though.

Same was said about the Oilers in 1992 & Reich led the big comeback. I would bet he is letting the squad know about that. Nothing is over until it's over. Keep in mind Watson hasn't lost a game by more than one TD since high school. Do not let up.

17 points should ice it but honestly if Reich is fluid with his defensive adjustments even that much shouldn’t be necessary.

Luck4Reich 01-05-2019 07:13 PM

3 and out here would be great!

Is that accurate or hyperbole? If it's true, then DAMN!

Luck4Reich 01-05-2019 07:14 PM

They got to know Watson is going to do that.

Absolutely don’t let up but I don’t think Watson has the mental fortitude that Reich had in 92’. In fact very few qbs would.
