Is this our best start in years?

Racehorse 10-02-2022 03:51 PM

Fries played RG in the second half. Nobody noticed because he played well.

HoosierinFL 10-02-2022 03:51 PM

Oline is soft, entire team is unprepared

He started. He had a couple plays he gave up pressure against Jeffrey Simmons. But Simmons is a probowler.

WaynesWorld87 10-02-2022 03:53 PM

Two turnovers in the first half in our own territory that gifted the Titans 14 points. All that and we still lose by just 7, and we were driving deep into Titans territory before our 3rd and final turnover of the day that pretty much sealed our fate.

Gave the Chiefs 14 points last week, too, after two turnovers in our own territory.

Mr. Session 10-02-2022 03:54 PM

Welp

nate505 10-02-2022 03:54 PM

The defense wasn't great in the first half, but honestly, I don't have too many complaints from them. They did their job today.

That trash ass horrible no good very bad OL is what lost the game today.

Dewey 5 10-02-2022 03:55 PM

Never really in this one right from the start. Fools gold.

Luck4Reich 10-02-2022 03:55 PM

Maybe Reich is eyeing Brady for our next QB since he will be 50 next year.

Also question Ballard a lot. He has created more holes on the team than he has filled the past few years.

Ignoring the same glaring issues every year gets old.

Brylok 10-02-2022 03:58 PM

This season is a wash. Blow it all up in the off season and start again.

Jim Irsay out: let the daughters take over and Jim can be a super fan, collector, musician, etc.

Ballard out

Reich out

All high wage/salaried players out

Try to get first round picks for Taylor and Leonard if possible. Nobody else is worth one.

Start Ehlinger and hopefully we'll have drafted a potential franchise QB. Have him holding the clipboard behind Ehlinger.

This has to end, it cannot go on and on and on.

Brylok 10-02-2022 04:04 PM

We might go 2-15 next year, but a fresh start is needed. This cannot continue.

I would rather go 0-17 with some one like Dan Campbell heading this thing up, bringing fire and grit and building up youngsters vs this shit.

This is awful. This is complacency, this is apathy, this is a shame.

Week in, week out, this team comes through that tunnel with ZERO enthusiasm, with zero chip on their shoulder. Every game they have to get absolutely punched in the teeth before they show any sign of pride.

That's a bad organization and it is NOT going to get better with this crew in charge. All of them have to be told to go home- all of them, all the way up to Ballard need to be fired!

Brylok 10-02-2022 04:08 PM

$20M/year for an invisible Left Guard. Smh...

I'm officially mentally checked out on this Colts team competing to win anything this season. I'm sure I will still watch and comment on most of the games. But I'm checked out until changes are made.

Jim, every week you have what, 61,000 people in that stadium that love your team? That spend lots of money on seats, on concessions, on gear.

Do you HEAR, do you SEE what many of these 61K folks are starting to say???

Jim, next home game it's probably going to be 58K. It's just going to continue to trend down down down until you replace these fucking frauds that are running this shit.

FIRE THEM ALL JIM!!!

People still watch and pay for the Pacers, and they haven't been relevant since Reggie Miller retired. They have no chance of ever winning an NBA championship. I hope the Colts aren't in that same boat.

Brylok 10-02-2022 04:40 PM

I can't believe how mad I am about a game I expected to lose. What a world...

Pacers led the league in worst attendance last year. But give them credit, they were willing to just allow suck to be suck, to move pieces to get young talent.

They will rise again and will be drawing people with young hungry talent.

This team is not willing to do that, this team has complacent leadership that is willing to be mediocre. The whole staff needs to be let go.

No, they won't.

IndyNorm 10-02-2022 04:47 PM

Decided to give the Colts another chance after last week and went out to watch the game today. Thanks for wasting my afternoon Colts (although it was spent at Twin Peaks so not that much of a waste).

KC beat themselves last week. These Colts are frauds. I hope you had a good time at least.

This is offtopic, but I was one of the biggest Pacer fans for years starting around 92 through the Paul George era. I lost interest in the NBA. It seems to be the top players wanting to go to big markets to form super teams. The Pacers can't compete with that, especially with questionable drafting.

True, but at least the D showed up against KC unlike in the first half today.

Only after years of mediocrity

When I was a kid back in the '80s, the principal would come on the microphone in the morning and say that they have free tickets for the Pacers and if you want them come down and get them at the office. So I would go down and grab four or five just on general principle. This was in the Wayman Tisdale days. So we'd go to Market Square Arena, eat popcorn, drink Coke or whatever, and you could pretty much sit wherever you wanted because nobody else was there. Especially for us kids. No grow up really bothered with us. And I remained a Pacer fan until 1999/2000 when they lost to the Kobe/Shack Lakers in the Finals. And then I knew it was done. Over. And it's been over ever since.

I have staunchly supported this team since late 70's and will continue to be a fan, but the way this team has been constructed and played so far this year, my Sundays just became wide open for more hunting time. Not all bad :)

Yep, I have other things I can do as well. I know my wife would appreciate it if I missed a few games. There was a time last season when many experts thought the Colts were a top 5, maybe even top 3 team....that was after wins at Buffalo and San Fran, then the wheels came off. I hate to say it, but we were better last year with Wentz! Replacing Wentz with Ryan and adding Woods and Pierce should have made us much better, so far it hasn't! Very disappointed, but there are still 13 games, so I still hold out hope!

I'm a half ass prepper and survivalist. I have ate a few bugs. Don't believe any of that shit you read, they taste like ass.

How pissed do you think Jim is? He’s gotta be livid. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone gets fired tomorrow.

Remember, Jimmy interviewed Vrabel in 2018 before he hired Frank. It’s gotta be chapping his ass that Vrabel is clearly the better coach.

We can only hope that happens. Frank sucks so fucking bad!
