Brissett absolutely balled out on that last drive. Awesome.

That! Ugly ass game from hell but it all worked out at the last second thank Gawd!

Division teams have to be hating how it turned out for us

That was a bad 3rd-down call by the Colts, and an even worse time-out call by the Broncos.

The Colts had 0 timeouts left, and you can't spike the ball on 4th down ........ they would have had to hurry their asses out there and kind of rush the field goal attempt if the Broncos had just let it be.

The Broncos pulled a Jim Caldwell ........ an extremely inefficient and inopportune use of a timeout.

Yes that was really a head scratcher. In doing it they also took the option away of a last second "icing" TO. Really dumb shit!

Pez 10-27-2019 04:35 PM

That has to be one of our least deserved wins ever. If that was anyone but the Broncos we would have lost by 10+.

True, but they better figure out why in the hell they keep playing down to awful teams. There is no excuse for this game being that close.

Just imagine being a fan of one of those teams and thinking....... Yes Colts dont have a QB and we can take the division.. then 7 games in.... Fuuuuuck!!! :D

On the other hand, they once again showed their grit. Brissett has a real issue with hanging onto the ball- and I think that's 3 fumbles lost which is too much- but he also demonstrates over and over that he does not get rattled. Looks like all that praise for his leadership is legit and that has to be a real confidence boost for the whole team. Winning these close games is a testament to Reich's ability to keep everyone on task.

Yes.

And there are a lot of kickers struggling more than usual this year. Anyone know if there was a rule change regarding the ball that might affect the kicking?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Brady?

Same here. Instant classic. One of the few highlights from an otherwise horrible game.

Now for a Raiders win.

Racehorse 10-27-2019 05:23 PM

They are trying to do their part.

As for AV sometimes one is speechless. I bet his work ethic is second to none.

Agreed. The Donks are 2-6 and were coming off a 30-6 curb stomping at home. No reason why we shouldn't have cruised to a double digit win.

It's the NFL and that's not realistic.... I remember a year where the Cheaters lost to a bad Dolphins team twice and went on to win the SB... a team they should have stomped.

It happens to every team every damn year. Bad teams can beat you and remember this Colts team is still young and learning how to win with a guy that has NEVER been a true starter.

They didn't. But Watt is out for the year now. Guy just can't stay healthy.

Brylok 10-27-2019 10:13 PM

I fell asleep during the game. Has anyone said that Rock Ya-Sin was bad today? Jeez

Those were divisional games. They’re always close, even between vastly different teams, simply because they know each other so well.

There is no excuse for this talented Colts team to struggle that mightily against a bad bad team.

Yes, it was mentioned earlier how awful he was.

I was listening to Venturi's analysis on JMV's show today. He claims that he's been saying since training camp that YaSin has horrible technique at the line that results in him being "handsy" and subject to penalty every time. He said it has something to do with where his hands are at the time of the snap that puts him at a deficit at the start of the play and as a result he has to grab the receiver to close the gap. He thinks this is something that should be coachable but sees no evidence that YaSin is making the adjustment in technique he needs to make. I'm sure there's more than enough tape on this at this point that coaches are going to see it and exploit it if he doesn't get his shit together and make an adjustment.

Rock was questioned about his performance yesterday and here was his response:

. . . . Ya-Sin admitted yesterday he got sloppy at the tops of routes & lost leverage near the LOS. Made up for it by grabbing at the WRs and once the officials noticed first one, they kept looking for it.
