Ballard continues to do what he said he would do. He seems to prioritize signing Colt free agents. My guess is he is heavy in on this trying to build continuity and get the locker room he wants in the process. Hope he is right.

I don’t mind drafting on OT. Just hope it is 4th round or after. |
This draft doesn't appear strong in offensive lineman. May be one reason we resigned Webb. I agree with Omaha with the caveat that if we think there is value I really don't care where we draft a guy.

For example, the article that Puck recently posted here: http://coltfreaks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70482 stated that the best position groups in this draft were 1) Interior DL 2) Edge 3) Interior OL 4) Offensive Tackle 5) Tight End |

I want a guy whos a difference maker on the D. I dont know who will be available that late in the draft. Ballard found Leonard in the secound, so Im optimistic. Taking an O tackle in the first or secound round is stupid. If Costanzo gets hurt next year, a rookie isnt going to solve that problem. You want the Colts to contend? They need a pass rush. Find the second coming of Mathis, a clone of Freeny who was in the wrong D in college. If you cant get to the other QB and knock him on his ass, it doesnt matter about a rookie left tackle. And no I dont know who that would be. Ive got a real job and I dint have time to pretend to scout college football. |

I know there are going to be a lot of cuts after the draft and as players cut down their rosters but as of now I was looking through the top remaining FA
Players I would still like to see at least brought in for an interview Suh. On a 2 yr contract with the second yr being an option. We desperately need a play maker at NT probably more than any position on the Dline .... Gotta be able to stop the run in the AFC South if your gonna win it. Ajayi. If healthy he is a better option that Mack. And if Mack goes down again we dont lose a step. Ajayi would also be a threat in the passing game which Mack is not. Use Ajayi and Hines as a slot guy and that could cause some issues for defenses. Mayowa. Need more pass rush Shane Ray.... maybe. Not sold on him but maybe with a change of scenery he can make something of himself... |

Not into ajayi but wouldn’t really care. |
The @Colts today announced that exclusive rights free agent WR Marcus Johnson and restricted free agents S Matthias Farley and WR Chester Rogers have signed their tenders.

Just saw that Ballard signed Webb for a hair over a million.

LB Najee Goode stays within the same division and signs with Jax. With the number of draft picks / rookies this year at the LB spot, it was going to be difficult to crack the Colts roster. "Goode" luck to Najee (except when playing the Colts).

Raiders will do Raiders-like things:
The Raiders have brought in free agent guard Richie Incognito to work out today. Just because - they are the Raiders. At this point, I would be really disappointed if Hard Knocks chooses a different team for this season. The players, the coach, the first year GM - that is must see TV!!! https://twitter.com/MikeGarafolo/sta...33547882409984 |

It was very clear at various points in the season, however, that he could be upgraded upon. He played in the precise spot where we would routinely get burned (intermediate middle of the field). Let's hope Banogu/Okereke can bring more speed. |

Starting this afternoon, might see a little more movement with the remaining free agents

I'm not as smart a football guy here as most of you but if you have the money to put us over the top dont hold onto it . Just my opinion and it may mean nothing. |

I think a long shot that Ballard might look at is Eric Berry. He is a great locker room guy and would bring a ton of experience to the secondary. Ballard likes these young safeties however and wants them to play. For me, I think we could use some experience back there. It helps when people get hurt and you face adversary. If I had to guess though, we don't sign any of these guys.
