We have 4 timeouts left ...... make sure you boot the kick-off out of the end-zone, to make sure that they don't use up 14 or more seconds on the run-back.

Thanks goodness for the NFL enacting the 2-minute warning back in 1942.

Unreal. Again & again & again

Dewey 5 09-08-2024 03:59 PM

That's a catch. We suck

WaynesWorld87 09-08-2024 03:59 PM

Of course. Ball thrown into an incredibly tight window, receiver dives and holds onto the catch, and seals the game. Refs gave them a bad spot, but it'll be reviewed and a 1st down given.

The nose of the ball hit the ground ....... maybe.

o

Dewey 5 09-08-2024 04:00 PM

Going to be a very long season.

Doesn’t matter, it’s allowed. As long as the ground doesn’t assist the catch

ChaosTheory 09-08-2024 04:01 PM

Just a great play. Three killer 3rd and longs.

Colts And Orioles 09-08-2024 04:01 PM

The Colts' defense had several bad series today, but that right there was not their fault ...... the defensive back could not have covered the receiver any tighter than he did.

Stroud is good. Refs have helped him a lot, just not there

nate505 09-08-2024 04:02 PM

Why is the clock running? He was out of bounds.

Ok, the announcer just fucked up.

nate505 09-08-2024 04:03 PM

It's hard to get mad about the catch. Sometimes other teams make great plays.

TheMugwump 09-08-2024 04:03 PM

The bright side is that they went toe-to-toe with the Texans all day, and came up two points short. There's room for improvement, but they are close.

But damnit!

o

Yes, that was a judgement call ...... they could have decided that the ground did assist him, but they didn't.

It was a good call.

o

HoosierinFL 09-08-2024 04:03 PM

Welp. AR can surely get better but if you told me we’d score 4 tds today, with those bombs, I’d feel good about our chances.

Was not expecting the run D to be so awful. Linebackers invisible. Just terrible football on the d side.

And it wasn't a catch, the ball was moving and hit the ground.

Well, it’s gonna be a long season. Can’t run the ball, can’t stop the run.

HoosierinFL 09-08-2024 04:05 PM

Time to watch the girls play basketball

Racehorse 09-08-2024 04:05 PM

At least the Tacks and Faguars lost

I thought that it was borderline ...... the nose of the ball did move, but not a lot.

It probably was not enough to overturn it, because they need irrefutable evidence to do so.

o

Hoopsdoc 09-08-2024 04:06 PM

Seriously, the loss I expected.

But I didn’t expect to get beat by Joe Mixon and the Texans running backs.

Thats what is disappointing.

nate505 09-08-2024 04:06 PM

Well fuck.

Trying to look the bright side here, the Colts were in a game that didn't play that well in, AR should improve (god willing) and is a lot of fun to watch, and both the Jags and Titans lost.

This defense is no fun to watch though.

If the ball is moving the receiver doesn't have possession. If it then hits the ground, it's an incomplete pass.

Same thing every year. Close. Played tough. Blah blah.

The secondary was actually the best part of the defense today. Who saw that coming?

Yeah, Ballard's build from the inside out on both sides is working out so well. I don't even like watching him talk anymore.

Hoopsdoc 09-08-2024 04:14 PM

Every analysis of this game has to start with the run defense.

Stewart, Buckner, Moore, and Franklin, all got huge deals and all allowed almost 200 yards rushing. Mixon just took their lunch money.

That’s inexcusable. Especially at home. Not a good omen going forward.

That’s what is disappointing. The loss I expected.

But not to lose because Joe Mixon ran it down our throats and there was nothing we could do to stop it.

Very disappointing.

Chromeburn 09-08-2024 04:15 PM

That game was buuuuuuulllllsssshhhiiiitttt. That Nico Colins catch hit the ground. They showed it then cut away never to show it again.

It was a catch. Your anger should be directed at Gus Bradley, not for that play but many others, & dipshit Ballard.

It was not a catch, he didn't have control of the ball. Refs robbed the Colts three times in the game. That, and both of the Stroud INTs.

Hoopsdoc 09-08-2024 04:22 PM

Run defense is bad.

That doesn’t get fixed in season.

Thats gonna be a problem all year.

It’ll be a problem next week in Green Bay. Especially if Love is out

Mark my words.

Gonna be a long season. The problems we have don’t get fixed in season.

Where was our running game?
