Unreal...why the same ass run play? That play is so predictable.
|
Ok, so Steichen didn't call the TO. Good, I was really hoping he wasn't that dumb.
|
AR has been a beast today. He came of age today and played a phenomenal game regardless the outcome.
|
Can we please take the Taylor up the middle play call out of the rotation?
|
Taylor up the middle, are you shitting me. Fuck you Steichen.
|
Well that was a great result!
|
Rodgers is due for an INT

Fuck yes, AR deserved this win. |
That was a satisfying finish.
|
Speed doing his best to cost the game,
Correct me if I’m wrong but is that AR’s first game winning drive? |
Colts Win, thank you Kwitty Paye

Pheww. Glad for the win but, good God, they make it more difficult than it has to be. Glad to see AR finish a game uninjured. Still a LOT of work to do. Cardiac Colts
|
I am back on the AR bandwagon....you have to let him run, it is how he gets into a rhythm and he feeds off of it! Let him play to his strengths or hit the road Steichen!

But keep in mind, they thought Indy had called that time out, so... |

Always feels good to win.

Helluva win. With 20-20 hindsight, I think sitting AR was a good move. He came back motivated, the players were united behind him and he was able to deal with a mistake or two and realize, it's a 60 minute game. Let's hope he continues to grow. There's a lot of potential, but he still needs to work on his touch.
|
I feel so damn great of AR. Hell of a damn game by him. Awesome.

We'll see how much of this was the Jets and how much is progress in the right direction...
But that was AR's best game. He didn't everything you want. Best stat line I remember from him... not video game numbers, but just good NFL QB numbers. But that 4th quarter was something. Great 8 play, 70yd drive for a TD. Then the Jets have a brutal almost 8-minute drive to force us to have to score a TD... and with the pressure on, he drives it down another 70yds for the TD. Awesome. |
To me, this represented a continued progression from the tap out game- he was good in that game, made good decisions and threw some good passes. In this game he was exceptional. Very good decision making and threw several GREAT passes. He looked confident from start to finish and he seemed to know they could not stop him on the edge and could use that at any point necessary.
There will continue to be bumps in the road, but there's unquestionably a road that looks like it might require expansion into an avenue if not at some point built out as an interstate. |
This is the AR we were meant to have. The AR we got at first. Then he got hurt and they tried to make him something he’s not.
The run game has to be a big part of what he does. He just has to learn to protect himself. |
Offensively, with three rookie backup Offensive Linemen, that was as good a game as they could've hoped for.
Gotta give Ballard some credit for drafting those guys. Defensively, Bradley did his best to give away the game to a totally inept Jets offense. |

The defense has been carrying the offense for the past month.

10 of those points were largely because of the Colts' offense. In the 2nd half the Colts' offense turned the ball over deep in their own territory, which the Jets turned into a 25-yard TD drive. On another occasion in the 2nd half, the Colts' offense went -7 yards in 3 plays, punted from their own 11 yardline, and let the Jets start their "drive" at the Colts' 38-yardline ...... the Jets went -2 yards in 3 plays, and then kicked a 58-yard field goal. o |

Rogers completion % was 75%. Rogers has been atrocious this year!
That is the common theme across not just THIS season, it is a Gus Bradley trend. Change the names on the back of the jerseys, change the teams each year, change the time of year games played, the common theme, is Gus Bradley. This scheme is not conducive to winning football games. |
