To his credit, he did call the timeout prior to the made kick. Doesn't excuse the fuckups, but only fair.

Dewey 5 09-17-2017 04:14 PM

Well that should do it. We should have won in regulation.

Racehorse 09-17-2017 04:15 PM

Even Brissett is tired of playing for Pagano.

He's been on the PUC list for some time.

I can't say that lot of effort on field by these guys

You mean MUC, right?

HoosierinFL 09-17-2017 04:16 PM

That was really the first and only bad throw by Brissett. 0-2 baby.

Dewey 5 09-17-2017 04:17 PM

Irsay will credit Pagano for keeping the game close without Luck.

smitty46953 09-17-2017 04:17 PM

That's the game 16-13 ... Should have won this one

20-17?

GoBigBlue88 09-17-2017 04:18 PM

Brissett did better than I thought he would. But that's why he's a QB2. A QB1 doesn't make that mistake. You live with it, though, in a world where the Colts were never gonna seriously contend this season anyway, probably benefit from losses, and are in no hurry to get Luck back...

Gotta teach Brissett to come off that first read, though.

Only because he has to.

You just gave Dam his talking point for the whole week.

YDFL Commish 09-17-2017 04:20 PM

I got to credit the Alouettes, the played a really good game.

Something to look forward too

bigalbert 09-17-2017 04:20 PM

Lotta mental mistakes today. Something a Pagano team is well known for

njcoltfan 09-17-2017 04:20 PM

0-2, nothing new !!

Thorgrim 09-17-2017 04:21 PM

"I'm proud of our boys. They kept chopping wood, but you got to give the Eagles credit, they played a hell of a game." Colts coach Chuck Pagano after the teams loss to Arizona.

Great, that retard has something to jerk off to all week now.

bertjones 09-17-2017 04:21 PM

It's too bad, the team played better than I thought it would. But they
faded, too many mistakes, were hurt by some questionable calls.

And doesn't help that we have the worst coaching in the league... makes it harder no matter how well the team plays to overcome that.

smitty46953 09-17-2017 04:23 PM

8 penalties for 70 yards, how many were false starts ?

Along with lacking the discipline to win in regulation.

It's more difficult than you think. He's still paying Grigson and will continue to pay Pagano. Talk about throwing money on bad projects. He might as well run for congress.

What's difficult? Fire him, pay him the same amount to go away that you would for him to stick around and ruin more games for the team.

Pags and Grigson are sunk costs. Competent businesspeople learn not to worry about them.

Then again, this clown is keeping Pagano, so Irsay is the last thing from competent.

Yep. Move up in the draft and start with new coaching. I don't see Luck saving this season and 8-8 goes nowhere. Might as well tank for a better pick and have a healthier Luck for 2018.

I hate that idea. I want my team to try to win every game. Tanking is a culture killer.

Pagano already killed the culture here. Grigson too. Whatever gets Pagano away from this team is what will allow Ballard and the new coach to install a new culture. Hopefully a winning one.

sherck 09-18-2017 07:36 AM

I don't think that team management is going to intentionally "tank" the season by telling the guys to intentionally play bad. That IS a culture killer.

But, seriously, making sure that Luck, Kelly and Davis don't "rush" back from injury will probably do it. Put that together with a push to play rookies and younger guys to "gain experience" and those 2 factors will probably lead the Colts to a massively losing record in the first half of the season.

Starting 0-8 or 1-7 or 2-6 with those three guys returning at mid-season and then working to gel the secondary, O-Line and QB position in the 2nd half of the season probably leads us to a losing record, higher draft pick and Clappy McWoodchopper being fired along with the young guys getting playing experience.

Walk Worthy,
