The only saving grace today is, Le Tits got smacked just as hard, and the Texicans destroyed the Jags. Today probably has little effect on the division. The Colts players and Coaches need to look in the mirror and start punching themselves in the face until Tuesday.

At least the Tacks lost. We are not losing ground on them. And we all know the Texans are not that good.

This feels like a different team than last year. No controlling the line of scrimmage on either side of the ball. Good play from the skill positions on offense but the worst offensive line play I’ve seen in years. Defensive line looked soft.

I’m fairly pleased with Wentz. His stats are just OK but he threw the ball well, and stats would have been better if he wasn’t on his ass the whole time. Only a couple of times did he hold on to the ball - and even then I’m guessing there was no one open. Play calling as suspect.

Why areHines and Wentz still out there? FML

Both lines were dreadful and that was the most conservative girly called game in the history of the NFL, Reich should be embarrassed at the level of coward displayed throughout. Venturi was just beyond himself with the lack of downfield attempts.

Better find a way to get Fisher ready for next week, otherwise this Wentz experience is going to be very short lived.

I am disappointed but it was game 1 vs Wilson and the Seahawks. Hopefully we get our shit together. I think we all knew the first few games of the season were going to be tough.

Where did you see Venturi during the game?

I got in the car with a little over 2 mins to go, listened to the final few minutes on the radio. He was aghast at how little we challenged down field and during that final 2 minute drive where Frank just rolled over and asked them to stomp his yellow belly Venturi said "The Colts have all these stats people, I am thinking they are missing a few stats". When we ran it on 3rd I thought he might have a stroke.

Yeah, I’m not as down now as I was during the game. Reich said they were gonna take it easy on Wentz starting out and they sure as heck did that. Wentz actually played pretty well, it was the rest of the team that was ass. That’s encouraging.

Also, the division didn’t really get any harder today with Tennessee losing.

It’s the defense I’m concerned with. For a unit that talked such a big game, they were pathetic. And it doesn’t get any easier with Stafford coming to town.

They need to avoid 0-2 and it’s not gonna be easy.

I think its funny when he gets worked up and he is the only one who gives the Colts shit for playing badly.

There were a few good teams that got their asses kicked today, and the Browns and Saints so far are having their way in the late games. I was down, but it is just the first game, I’m gonna have a bourbon or two and look forward to next weekend!!
