I am back and forth about Houston. I think I want them to win.

I am gonna join the Bills Mafia for theses playoffs. I am am huge Josh Allen fan. And I freakin hate the stEAlers

NFC side. I would love to see the Lions pull this off. I also like the 9ers

Whoever I root for will immediately lose so I’ll probably pull for the Steelers.

If the Browns had had somebody besides Joe Flacco at QB, they might have won the game, or at least made it competitive ...... in my rat's ass of an opinion, Joe Flacco against good teams at this stage of his career was/is a recipe for disaster.

The Browns beat the Texans in the regular season with Flacco at QB, but that was the Texans without C.J. Stroud, and the Texans without C.J. Stroud are a different team on both sides of the ball. After winning 3 straight division titles in 1975, 1976, and 1977, the 1978 Baltimore Colts fell apart on both sides of the ball without Bert Jones, and that was no coincidence.

o

Fuck the Browns… I knew they were phonies… let Flacco rest the last game of the year…. Guy was on his couch half the season and you let him rest??? They got what they deserved. Fuck em

Watching the 95 playoff game against the Chargers when Zack Crockett ran wild. Ashley Ambrose was a damn good CB.

On the back page of the New York Daily News newspaper the day after that game, they had a picture of Jim Harbaugh hugging Zack Crockett, and huge, printed letters of the word l "UPSET" l with the Capital l "U" l being horseshoe-style, the same as the Colts' logo ...... the entire back-page of a major New York City newspaper was entirely covered with an Indianapolis Colts playoff win.

How did the Steelers make the playoffs?

Spike 01-15-2024 06:45 PM

Up to this point, it has been a great weekend of playoff football.

Rams- out
Cowboys - out
Steelers trailing 21-0 in the 2nd quarter.

:D

Seems they played teams at the right time. LV had not fired McDouche yet. Burrow had just gotten hurt. Love had not yet hit his stride in GB, etc.

The Steelers started the season at 7-4, which included a win over the Ravens.

After that 7-4 start, they bottomed out with 3 consecutive losses, 2 of which were to awful teams (the Cardinals and the Patriots.) And even the loss to the Colts was pretty bad, because it was a decisive win for the Colts (30-13), and the Colts with Gardner Minshew at QB were a pretty good (but far from a great) team.

After the Steelers lost to the Colts to conclude their disastrous 3-game losing streak, they were seemingly in a shambles ...... Steelers fans were calling for the head of Mike Tomlin, claiming that the game had "passed him by" ...... they responded by winning their next 3 games to finish the season at 10-7 to bring home the 17th consecutive winning/non-losing season for their much-maligned head coach.

The Steelers are probably going to lose this game to the Bills, but the same is true for many of the lower-seeded playoff teams throughout recent NFL history ...... they often lose in the first-round, and it can often be foreseen prior to the fact.

Kind of like the Cowboys losing early in the playoffs.
