Very impressive complete game by the defense

Trev Alberts? JK

Brackett, Herrod maybe.Go back to the Baltimore days with Hendricks or Bickett. Been a long time.

Another what-if--imagine if he had a long-ass career like Ronnie Lott or Polamalu. What a wrecking ball he would've been for a long time.

Marcus Washington had a good year but took the money elsewhere. Mike Peterson was my personal favorite from that era.

Brylok 09-16-2018 04:00 PM

Yes yes yes! Great win. And I like the building blocks that are in place

Haha, well none under the Grigson era that's for sure. Ballard may have his faults. But for the most part things seem to be trending up. And he is getting hits in the draft, especially with his first rounders.

Colt Classic 09-16-2018 04:02 PM

These two opponents may not be as good as those on the schedule later in the year, but I'll eat crow on how good the defense looks so far. They look like they know what they're supposed to do. They may not always complete their assignment, but they're right there on it.

Peterson was pretty good. Should have stayed in our D. But at the rate Leonard is going he will make the pro-bowl this year!

Racehorse 09-16-2018 04:07 PM

One of the commentators called this the lock of the week.

Bengals are above average, I think washington is a little slow and plodding. Third place for them I bet. Still to keep a NFL team out of the redzone is not a small accomplishment, and they have several pro-bowlers on that oline.

One of the announcers said "Kemoko Turay Colts rookie linebacker"

Q Coryatt was 2nd pick in first round. Steve Emtman was #1. Also Ron Solt was a #1 pick

Emtman's Army-- I remember that was a HUGE section in the RCA Dome.

I misread it, my apologies

Unlike past seasons, I can see this team growing and improving. Great road win.

I think Emtman would have been good. That turf destroyed his knee. Coryatt under performed and it peaked with that dropped, possibly game winning, INT against the Steelers in the AFC championship game.

Damn you. Never speak of that play.

I can kinda deal with that, but I HATE Kordell Stewart going out of bounds in the back of the end zone and coming back in to catch a TD pass. Fuck that guy.

Everyone forgets that there was a run play by Lamont Warrren where the Pitt defender, I think Ray Seals, went the wrong way he supposed to & ran smack into Warren who would still be running. That play was an easy TD that would have iced the game. Great game.
