Bad footwork there again. Strong armed guy not using technique.

nate505 09-22-2024 02:46 PM

Wow...that was also horrible by Richardson.

This game has been really, really bad for him.

Bad everything.

IndyNorm 09-22-2024 02:46 PM

JFC. Time to bench AR.

TheMugwump 09-22-2024 02:46 PM

Versus Williams who has fantastic footwork and balance.

That's the worst thing to do. He needs the experience, and that won't happen on the bench.

Hoopsdoc 09-22-2024 02:49 PM

That may have been the worst throw I’ve ever seen an NFL quarterback make.

I dunno. Giving him a hug and telling him it's ok every time he air mails one to the other team obviously isn't working either.

Right.

Can’t bench him. Go back to basics. Run the fucking ball.

You called it earlier....very Wentz-like! Lots of talent, strong arm, no touch and doesn't make good decisions! The upside is he is still young and has time to learn. I ask in another thread, is Cam Turner a good QB coach, nobody anwered, if not or if he is just average that needs to be fixed, bring in Curt Warner nd let him work with AR!

Richardson and the Colts' offense is putting a lot on the defense ...... that's 3 points off of a turnover near mid-field.

That said, it's a team game, and the defense's job is to bail out the offense when they are off, just like it's the offense's job to bail out the defense when they are off.

ChaosTheory 09-22-2024 02:52 PM

Nah, keep playing. Not getting better on the bench. Sink or swim.

Yeah, this is an AR development year. It can suck at times, but so it goes.

TheMugwump 09-22-2024 02:53 PM

Just to go back to the topic one more time. Peyton had thrown nine interceptions and only two TD by halftime of his fourth game.

Based on comments in here, some of you would have benched the greatest QB in league history because he couldn't win right out of the gate.

IndyNorm 09-22-2024 02:54 PM

Silver lining is AR is definitely on pace to break Peyton's franchise record for INTs in a season.

nate505 09-22-2024 02:54 PM

What the fucking hell...two false starts in a row?

Spike 09-22-2024 02:55 PM

2 false starts in a row, how fucking ridiculous. This team is undisciplined as hell. Coaching needs to step up their game.

Dewey 5 09-22-2024 02:55 PM

He never ever sets his feet. His mechanics need serious work.

nate505 09-22-2024 02:55 PM

Damn, the drive had a tiny bit of promise after the two horrible penalties, but Taylor can only catch a perfect pass.

Is that Peyton pr Paintin' :D

TheMugwump 09-22-2024 02:55 PM

That is why Taylor wasn't on the field in the fourth quarter last week.

IndyNorm 09-22-2024 02:56 PM

Well at least AR didn't throw that lay up into the 2nd row

He won't be getting that from Anthony any time soon....

Maybe JT should have had that, but that was a bad throw too.

Yup, and how did that work out for us?

Spike 09-22-2024 02:57 PM

Damn, we can't even make the easy plays work. That's should have been a first down easy.

nate505 09-22-2024 02:59 PM

Props to the defense. They really came to play today.

It also helps that Williams hasn't been spectacular by any means either.

what do you mean?

nate505 09-22-2024 03:01 PM

Fucking morons. The risk/reward of going for a block is not worth it at all. Absolutely stupid to call for a punt block. Don't rush it at all.

I mean a good way to help a struggling young QB is lean on your stud RB.
Not arguing with you.

Yup. And the veterans need to step up to help out the 'rookie' QB.

Hoopsdoc 09-22-2024 03:02 PM

So so so bad.

Just comically bad.

Colts so very richly deserve to lose this game.

And they will.

Chromeburn 09-22-2024 03:02 PM

Stupid mistakes

I remember when the Colts did that late in the 4th quarter of a playoff game against the Jets, in 2010.

IDK, can't you imagine this exact same thing being posted on the Bears board?

It's a race to the bottom.

nate505 09-22-2024 03:04 PM

I can't see if he tipped it or not. Either way, fucking stupid as hell to try a punt block there.

Colts And Orioles 09-22-2024 03:04 PM

o

That really sucks for the Colts' defense, but sometimes you need to go above-and-beyond the call of duty ...... there's going to be times when the defense needs the special teams and the offense to bail them out when they are scuffling.

o

Hoopsdoc 09-22-2024 03:04 PM

I told my wife, there’s literally only ONE way they can bail the Bears out here and that’s exactly what they did.

Jesus Tap Dancing Christ.

The ONLY reason the Colts are even in this game is that the Bears are as comically bad as we are.

CletusPyle 09-22-2024 03:05 PM

It may have been tipped but no way they change it!
