Darnold would look good in the Horseshoe with some decent pro coaching. |

The defense sacked Watson 5 times today, got an absolutely determined INT that was initially a completed pass for the opposition, and came up big on several different occasions ...... I think that they (the defense) largely made their own luck today. o |
Thank. Thank you football Gods for showing us your favor today. That was an extremely generous favor you did for us.

Bullet dodged there. My Soda's picks are going to be awful this week, but I'm happy for the win.

Cleveland is 9-3 for the first time since 1994; right before Baltimore stole them.

I mean the Texans were going to score a go-ahead TD; there's almost no doubt about that. So when is the last our opponent was driving and looked like they were for sure going to score the game winning FG or TD in the final seconds, only to unexpectedly fuck it up all on their own? |

In the 2nd half, the Colts' defense outscored the Texans by a score of 2-0. We were gifted the fumble which ended the game, but I don't think that there is a guarantee that they necessarily would have scored a touchdown and/or if the Colts would not have come back to kick a field gaol in the waning seconds if they did. Prior to all of that, we had a great run-back of the free kick after the 2-point safety that was called back because of a penalty. I don't think that the Colts necessarily should have lost that game. Holding DeShaun Watson to 0 points in the first 28 and-a-half minutes of the 2nd half isn't done by luck. o |

In addition to the full game that the Colts gained on the Titans, they also gained half a game within the division, and a full game within the Conference. vs. AFC South: lll.,, Colts (2-2) llllll Titans (3-1) vs. AFC: llllllllllllllllll, Colts (4-4) llllll Titans (6-4) o |
Texans center bailed out Reich for being a fucking moron and not taking the FG to put us up by 7.

The decision to go for it on 4th down, up by 4, was REALLY dumb. You take the points every time there. Make it a 7 point game.
There are 7 minutes left at that point. Even if Houston scores and ties it, there will likely be some time left to get into fg range. If Houston scored after the 4th down stop, there’s probably time left again, only now you’re BEHIND and you HAVE to score instead of potentially playing for overtime if you get into a bad spot. That was a TERRIBLE call. Kick the field goal every time there. Colts are lucky that didn’t come back to bite them in the ass. |
B on the title
A on Taylor’s performance today |

If not for a flukey fumble at the end, that decision likely would have cost them the game. Taking the points would have meant overtime at the WORST. |

It was a bad call. https://www.indystar.com/story/sport...wn/3851496001/ |

I still like the call based on how the game was progressing. I wanted no part of OT with a 3rd string LT and facing Watt and Watson. Maybe it is still a lack of faith in Rivers under pressure. |
Quote:
2) Safety put us up 6, so a TD beats us. If we just kicked the FG and put us up 7, then they are forced to score a TD and either tie the game or go for two and risk losing. That is a FAR better scenario than being up 4 or 6 after the safety. Not kicking the FG was fucking stupid. |

Was that the only 4th down try they made in that game?

Quote:
No. They went for it on 4th and 4 in the 2nd quarter, and Philip Rivers completed a 39-yard TD pass to a wide-open Jonathan Taylor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6c6Q8MjRIbs o |
