Also, think of it this way: what message does it tell the locker room if you’ve committed more money to Brian Hoyer than Brissett, yet you keep telling everyone who asks that you think he’s a top 20 QB? Ebron, Mack, and Moore have already responded positively to the deal on Twitter. This tells the team that Ballard expects them to win and Brissett is the guy in 2019.
