Breaking: Frank Reich says Carson Wentz had an old foot injury dating back to perhaps high school according to doctors. Over time, the broken bone came loose and caused pain. The decision has been made to undergo surgery and remove it. 5-12 weeks.

That's what I read a little while ago: 4PM surgery today. Recovery time is 5-12 weeks.
At least we'll keep our first round pick.

Not the end of the world. I suppose it's better than ligament damage.

I'm betting that we don't trade for a veteran until the staff feels confident that that Eason is not the answer.

So maybe similar to the Brissett trade, late pre-season or early season.

Eason has had a full year in the system, he's the obvious choice compared to bringing in some veteran who doesn't know the system.
They better not trade for Nick Foles.

So if it's 8 weeks, he'll miss the first three games. Sucks, but I guess it could be a lot worse.

If it's 5 weeks he won't miss any games.

I think missing training camp and preseason will hurt just as much as any games.

I'm soooo bummed! :(

I had such High Hopes and there was already areas of concern...

I dunno what to think now.

I am going into the season with no real expectations.
