I remember that game ........ I was in 5th grade.


A good trivia question is, "how did the Steelers get their 21 points that day ???"

It WAS NOT 3 touchdowns and 3 extra points ........ it was 2 touchdowns, 1 extra point, 2 field goals, and a safety.


Roy Gerela (the Steelers' kicker) was injured on the very first play of the game when he made a tackle on Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson on the opening kickoff........he subsequently had a sub-par day, missing 2 very makeable field goals and an extra point.
