That's what the rules say is supposed to happen ...... but if the Broncos had kicked a field goal and tied that God-awful game again, Roger Goodell may have walked out to midfield and told the referees to get these 2 teams off of the fucking field.

Right? He probably could've gotten a tie by kicking the FG. No way was Matt Pryor going to hold up without causing a disaster for another 5+ plays.

Also this game made NFL history. First time both teams had a starting QB with 4+ Pro Bowl appearances and neither team scored a TD.
