will be very telling if AR is out again next week

I think you might be on to something here. Because that was just an inexplicable collapse yesterday.

Seems very possible that something else is going on.

Watching the team this year brings me back to the 80's. Shitty team, shitty season but hey, at least we beat the Jets.

With the Colts loss today, Chris Ballard officially becomes the longest tenured non-multi role General Manager (i.e. not an owner, CEO, principal etc) in NFL history to have a losing record and not have multiple playoff wins or a conference championship appearance.

He takes that title from former Houston Oilers GM Ladd Herzeg, who set the record in 1988.

This is the culture Ballard developed. No one fears for their job.

His infinite patience & loyalty means no one worries about outside free agents taking their job.

Don't be awful and you'll earn that sweet, sweet 2nd contract $ then you too can chill with the other over paid vets.

Those are solid takes.

Is there a single guy Ballard has resigned to a big second contract who hasn’t regressed?

Stewart and Buckner maybe. I can’t really think of anyone else.

Nelson, Smith, JT, Kelly, Shaq Leonard, Franklin, all those guys lost a step as soon as they got those big deals.

I disagree, the problem has been the disagreement with the QB position. They’ve become too concerned with how these guys are viewed off the field.

Team full of good guys that will stop and change a tire, unfortunately a team full of those guys will never win shit in the NFL

Hard to disagree with any of this....surprised he has to buy his own season tickets?

He’s a pussy and they enable him

Can’t rely on a guy that plays half the time

Sends the wrong message to the guys playing thru all their injuries, nobody is 100 percent right now

When you need him the most he’s not there

11:40 Monday morning...I see nobody has been fired yet. I'm not surprised. Oh, well.
