Yeah, given how close our losses have been so far has made this year more frustrating and upsetting than expected.

I thought this was a 5-7 win season. We did nothing of significance in the off-season with our immense amounts of cap-space to improve the roster, so the defense, on paper, is/was still going to be pretty putrid. And with Luck missing an entire season, I thought he'd have a very up-and-down year while he knocked off the rust.

However, all three losses were extremely winnable games and, knowing that information, not being 4-0 or 3-1 is extremely frustrating even though I thought we'd be doing good to go 2-2 in our first four games.

Blech.

I agree with it. Fuck ties and the NFL new overtime rules. Go for the win. The NFL will probably change the rule next year with all the tie games this year.

What I do have an issue with is our 6th overall pick, a "generational talent", getting punked by Clowney for a clutch sack that ended up winning Houston the game.

You’re right, he looked completely lost.

Yep, it failed. But he decided to go with Luck, who was feeling it. I won't slay him for that.

Seems like an insane call, but my guess is that Reich really didn’t want end up in a tie after the team fought back so far. He thought they deserved to go for it all.

He got bitch slapped. But Clowney had that generational tag also coming out.

I am.

I predicted the Colts to go 11-4-1 this season, and that was the potential tie right there.

Frank Reich is old enough to know better, also.

I agree. I liked going for it. This season is an experiment anyway.
