Hey Spike, good to see you out here, good luck in the Soda Picks Championship!

There was a nuance in that situation, though ...... the Bills were starting the conversions attempt from the 1-yardline instead of the 2-yardline, due to a penalty on the Chiefs. I might have gone for 2 in that situation also, regardless of the score ...... not to chase the points, but to take advantage of what was a considerably easier 2-point conversion. o |

As I said, I probably would have gone for it regardless of the score. Even if I were up by 9 points, I still would have gone for the 2 because you can't pass up an opportunity to get an easy conversion from the one-yardline ...... and if you can't get one yard, then maybe it isn't your team's day. o |

I would not have gone for 2 there ....... there is still a lot of football to be played. Unless there are exceptional circumstances (such as a penalty on the defense to put the ball at the one-yardline), I don't like going for 2/chasing points until the final 7 or 8 minutes of the 4th quarter. o |
So instead up being up by a field goal, chasing the points bites the Bills in the ass.

Or even being up by 2 ...... if the Bills had kicked that extra point just now, they would be up 23-21, and another TD and an extra point would make it a 2-possession game at 30-21 ...... like I said, there is still too much football to be played and all sorts of scenarios that might pan out to be chasing points unless it's the final 7 or 8 minutes of the 4th quarter. o |
Good news: It's looking like we very well could have someone to root for in the Superbowl.
Bad news: My bets are looking a lot worse now than they were at halftime  |
I knew this was going to be a great game, these two teams are very close talent wise!
|
I thought he got it, one line judge marked him over the line, the other one marked him short...the guy marking him short somehow got the ball and put it down without even consulting with the other line judge!
|
You just knew that call was going for Chiefs. Damn it.
|
Of course they show Taylor when the Chiefs are winning, if they lose they will never show her!
|
29-29 6 minutes to go, that was a tight window but Josh Allen made a perfect throw!
|
No hands to face on the Chiefs? Such bullshit!
|
You have to go for this...don't you?
|
o
This is boring ...... I'm going to watch something else. o |
I am so sick of the fucking chiefs!
|
o
That was a mistake by the Chiefs' ballcarrier ...... he should have immediately gone down after he got the 1st down ...... instead, he pushed for 2 more yards and went out of bounds to stop the clock. o |

If he had stayed in-bounds, the game would have been just about over. o |
That the ball game 32-29 Chiefs final....Bills are eliminated!
Chiefs vs Eagles Superbowl! |

What everybody is saying about a 3-peat being unprecedented is wrong ...... the Green Bay Packers won 3 consecutive world championships in 1965, 1966, and 1967. All world championships count, from 1933 through the Present. o |

Green Bay Packers: Their 3 NFL Championships in a Row Have Never Been Duplicated (By Bob Fox) https://greenbaybobfox.wordpress.com...en-duplicated/ "But starting in 1933, the NFL champion was determined by the ultimate winner in the postseason. That means the playoff system has been in place for 87 years now. And only one team has won three straight NFL titles during that time. And that was the Green Bay Packers who played under head coach Vince Lombardi. The Pack won NFL championships in 1965, 1966 and 1967. Many of the players who played on those teams had a chance to win three in a row once before, as the Packers won the NFL title in both 1961 and 1962, before falling just short in 1963." o |
I will be rooting for the Eagles, but I do believe the NFL wants the 3-peat, so I fully expect the Chiefs to get all the breaks. They should have been out of FG range on their last drive because of an obvious hands to the face that was uncalled....the guy literally ripped the Bills lineman's helmet off!
|
o
I'm rooting for the Chiefs to get the 3-peat ....... but I like history to be told accurately, and not manipulated for the sake of sensationalism ...... a 3-peat has been done before. o |

That isn't the point. You don't showboat your individual success while your team is getting their asses kicked ...... Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning would never do such a thing as Daniels did yesterday, because leaders with good perspective like Manning and Luck aren't that short-sighted. Daniels is only a 23 year-old rookie, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and presume that by the time that he is in his late 20's he won't be acting that way anymore in that specific kind of situation. I've pointed out on numerous occasions that football is a team game, and star players need to pick their team up (as Daniels did yesterday) ...... and by the same token, if a star player has a bad game, his team needs to pick him up because football is a team game ..... if Daniels had thrown 4 INT's yesterday but his team were up by 11 points after he scored that touchdown, I would have had no problem at all with him strutting it up in the end-zone. o |
o
^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ And I'm not just picking on Daniels, because this type of nonsense is very prevalent throughout the NFL ...... on hundreds of occasions over the last 25 to 30 years, I have seen players celebrate sacking a quarterback when their team is down by more than 14 points. Lamarr Houston tore his ACL while celebrating a sack of New England Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, while the Bears were losing by 25 points ...... the game was so out of hand that the Patriots took Tom Brady out, and had their 2nd-string QB finishing up the final minutes of the 4th quarter. Whooping it up over making a good play while your team is being manhandled has been going on for decades in the NFL, and unfortunately, it isn't going to stop any time soon ...... I hope that Jayden Daniels distances himself from these clowns as he matures, because I really like his game overall. o |
