We'rea 3rd and 17 stop away from making this a relaxing 4th quarter. But because we're the Colts, it's going to end up somehow still being a "sweat it out in the final minutes" game.

These announcers seem vaguely pro Lions. Multiple times they call the spot wrong, calling Lions gains a yard or 2 longer and Colts gain a yard shorter than they were. Now they call for optimism that the Lions have time to come back

I figured on 4+ sacks and 2+ interceptions. Almost there.

We're the Colts. We rarely "ass whip" anyone the past 10 years or so. Stress free 4th quarters are non-existent in Colts-fandom world.

He puts his nose down and gets downhill he finds the hole and hits it. He may not be the best athlete on the field but he sure as shit ain’t afraid to go into the line

What a monster drive. Burned clock, got them to take time outs, and still got a TD to end it. Fucking masterful.

Come on Specs

Not a fan of getting too cute with the formations at the goal line, but it worked.

That drive was a thing of beauty and exactly what we needed. We chewed 5-minutes off the clock and got the TD back to make it a 21 point game again.

Two missed XPs today. Hope he gets them all out of his system. He's had several other "close call" made XPs this year, so this isn't surprising. Fortunately it's coming in a game where we're comfortably in control.

I think that's the third time we've given up a 3rd and 10+. One was like 3rd and 11 in the first half, and obviously on the last two drives, we've given up a 3rd and 17 and a 3rd and 16.

Fair point. Can't really blame him for first missed XP, then.

We've done that a lot this year, one of the biggest issues with this defense.

Alright, 5-2 with a tough one coming up next week. Wish we could replay week 1, but so far this season has gone about as expected given the schedule through this point.

Always liked Wilkins, just felt if he got the carries he would produce. And of course, fix the fumbling issue.

I would argue that it is easily the biggest problem for our D, and today it was worse than normal. Typically we give up first downs on 3rd and 10+, but today we gave up huge chuck plays of 73 and 24 yards on 3rd and 15+. It didn't really matter today, but in a closer game and/or against a better opponent those plays would have been back breakers.

Don't know if it's his vision, that we don't telegraph the run as bad, or the opponents D doesn't sell out to stop the run as much, but Wilkins seems to get much more out of his carries than Taylor does at this point in their careers. I hope Wilkins gets the start at RB next week.

How often do we throw the ball on Taylor’s in the backfield. And on the one play on fourth down they had him running sideways and then he had to turn up the field. It was a terrible call..He’s a hammer you don’t swing it sideways.

Give Wilkins credit he’s a downhill runner. He’s not afraid I’ll put his head down and get what he can. He’s not pretty he’s not flashy, he just goes downhill
