I really can't stand Krapitz, but I think I know why he made the Carter comment. He wanted to talk about a player drifting into obscurity. Most Duron Carters of the world do so and people forget their names. However, Krapitz wanted to put a name and face to it, so he tried to think of such a player. Carter is the only one who came to mind, because he was the son of an all-time great.

He would have been better off if he had just not even named a name at all, but Krapitz has to crap on people, so he did.
