That article summarizes why teams aren't going to pay for him in all likelihood. He's a free agent after the season, so if the Raiders really don't want him, they'll let him go (at which point Ballard should have a fueled up private jet with a nonstop course to Indy parked in front of Mack), but teams aren't willing to pay the price Oakland will want because the 2019 class is loaded at DL. The Colts may have 3 top 50 picks in next year's draft, and it's conceivable that they could use them all on DL and get good value.
