If Jones doesn't make a half-dozen turnover worthy plays (which he's done the past two games), then frankly, some of these teams don't scare me.
You have to show up and play, and the football isn't round, blah, blah... so anything can happen. But we lost to the Texans by 2 and 3 points last year with our QB throwing a combined 19/51 (37%) including gifting a touchdown right before halftime in the second game. |

Agreed. My biggest fear is a Colts collapse down the stretch, not being caught by the Jaguars or the Texans. And to be caught by the Jaguars or the Texans would require a Colts collapse. If the Colts go 4-3 in their last 7 games, then there would be virtually no way that they would not win the division. If the Colts go 2-5 in their last 7 games to fall to 10-7, then the likelihood of them making a deep playoff run will be minimal. o |
We definitely need Home Field Advantage for as much the playoffs as possible.
As has been said on here several times, we control our own destiny due to a large lead in the division, an unbeaten record in the division, the best conference record in the AFC and basically and a virtual tie for the best overall record in the AFC. The next 3 weeks are critical. Nothing less that a 2-1 record during that span is acceptable. |
