While I don't like Luck being out, I really don't have a problem with how Luck's status is being handled.

Just pisses off the media because they are keeping things as tight lipped as possible and they have nothing to report.

There is no need to rush him back to play for a few early season games. Especially when Kelly is out now too, so his risk of reinjury is even higher.

ESPN doesn't know crap about a team like the Colts. If its not the Pats, Cowboys, Giants, Steelers, they really don't pay much attention.

Pretty much everything including the initial approach that time would heal his shoulder. Perfect time to do it was middle of 2015 season when he had to miss the last half of season. Then again maybe Luck didn't want it done, what the hell do I know. I find it odd that the guy with the repaired shoulder never days anything of substance regarding what is going on. Apparently Pagano can teach something with an assist from Irssy, how to speak in cryptic bullshit and say nothing.

That will be a LOSS.

I see yet another 0-2 start.

We probably would have started 0-2 anyway. When has Clappy ever had his team prepared to play at the start of the season?

I'm guessing an 0-2 start, winning against the browns, then losing to the Seahawks and Titans. 1-4 is my prediction thru the first five.

Maybe they'll poopcan Chucky then.

Rams game reminds me a lot of the Lions game last year. A mediocre opponent who we should beat but Clappy finds a way to screw it up.

Damn, I already hate this season, six days before it starts.

They'll beat the Rams

It reminds me more of the '15 opener at Buff. Mediocre team with a good pass rush. Clappy has us completely unprepared to play as always and we get embarrassed

Funny how I used to always be super excited at the start of the season and now I pretty much couldn't care less.

You do realize Clappy's record in season openers is 1-4 with the only win coming at home against a really bad Raiders team who only won 4 games that year. And after blowing a 14 point lead we were lucky to win that one.

DrSpaceman 09-04-2017 09:32 PM

The Colts could actually win the opener and some games in the first month even if Luck is out.

not saying they WILL do that, but even without Luck, the team SHOULD be able to go 2-3 or even 3-2 vs. the rams, Cardinals, browns, seahawks and 49ers.

But yes, Clappy Mcwoodchipper does nothing to improve those odds.

The Rams are a really bad team, I'm not convinced Goff is a better QB than Tolzien. Colts run the ball, get a couple turnovers and get out of there with the W
