I don't think he's a Savior. The bigger issue is I don't know if he can be just a competent QB in this league, mostly because a HOF level QB couldn't be competent behind this complete and total trash of an OL.

Actually he chose McDickface over Vrabel, and we ended up w/ Reich after McDickface bailed on us.

I know the OL has been bad, but Matt Ryan was still a top 10 QB in yardage before he was benched. Ehlinger threw for 120ish yards on 50ish percent completion rate with 0/14 third down conversions. That's historically bad, and can't entirely be blamed on the OL, especially with the context of Ryan's performance prior to that.

Why would we want Vrabel? He probably cheats in the same way Belicheat does.

I really didn't like that about the last coaching search, picking McDaniels that is. Let's hope the next one goes better.

I agree, completely

Nelson, Kelly, and Smith, based on last years play, could play on any NFL. Those three have played have been terrible this year. This train wreck has many authors, the O line is just one culprit. The coaching staff, front office, (Ballard) and Irsay need to take a big bite of this poop sandwich.

Ryan is also a 15 or whatever year veteran who is a top 10 passing yards leader of all time. Ehlinger was on his second start. Rookie Matt Ryan isn't doing shit with this OL either, and might even be labeled a bust because of it.

He was also turning the hall over at a historic pace.

Sam has been way better in that regard.

Was Vrabel even interviewed? I don't recall either way.
