But they have money that to some degree they HAVE to spend on someone and lots of not just holes on the team due to poor talent but literal holes with no one signed.

$6.5 million for one year for Melvin. I don't understand why you don't make that deal. You better be bringing in someone good to replace him if you can't pay that money for one of the few bright spots on the D last year.

you don't make the deal because it takes two to make a deal. It's been reported that Melvin and his agent Would Not Accept a one year deal from the Colts. They were asking for a multi year deal with $ that were "much high" than 6.5. This is why Ballard said test the market. Market said you aren't the CB1 you think you are so instead of coming back and negotiating a multi year deal with the Colts he says I have confidence in myself....I will prove the market wrong. And here we are. You can't make a deal with someone who doesn't want to deal. It sucks but it's the business reality.

Norwell gone. Jensen gone. Pugh gone. Kline gone. Sitton gone. How are we supposed to improve the OL now? Please explain this to me.

Some of the money these guys are making is ridiculous for what they have accomplished so far. Kirk Cousins is now the highest paid QB in the league, WTF are we in, the twilight zone?

The reality is there is no explanation for this. This pisses me off too. Protecting Luck should have been priority number 1 for Ballard. It sure as hell wasn't priority number 1 for Griggs. You just can't fix fucking stupid. Overpay if you have to, but protect the franchise for the love of God.

Rumor was they could not get him to leave Arizona, but tried ??? :cool:
