Let’s call it what it is… AR got an in school suspension for his actions… sit for 2 games for embarrassing the organization and insulting any QB that’s ever played the game.

There’s no fuckin way after watching that old mfer out there you can tell me he gave us the best chance to win.

He sliced up a porous Jags D that weren’t prepared to play him.

He’s toast

Flacco was bad, no question, terrible is probably most appropriate, but those here patting the D on the back for their performance- are you kidding me? Once again, look at the TOP. Once again just trounced in the TOP department. Why- why is it constantly this way--- motherfucking Sam Darnold completed 82% of his damn passes for almost 300! The middle of that defense was 4,000 yards wide with no one to fill. He averaged 10.4 per pass and I only recall the one deep shot down the sideline to Jefferson- meaning EVERYTHING was a nice comfortable 8-9 yard time killer.

There are so many people on this team that need to be fired. We won't move on from Ballard until season's end, IF we even do (we could lose out and Ballard will still be here next year...). But this morning, Gus Bradley should be gone. Every game, every damn game these QB's just chew up the zone and leave our offense standing on the sidelines watching the game.

Nah man, AR was not and is not the problem with this team. Steichen is real proud of himself for his player accountability, but there is ZERO accountability on himself or his coaches, zero, and that shit is real fucking old!

The Colts' defense ......

A) ) Scored 7 points on a fumble-and-scoop.

B) ) Score more points (7) than the Colts' offense did (6).

C) ) Got 7 stops in the Vikings' first 9 possessions, and 7 out of 10 overall after the Vikings punched in a TD in the final minutes of the 4th quarter.

D) ) Unquestionably kept the Colts in the game until the final minutes of the 4th quarter in spite of an absolutely horrific performance from the offense.

E) ) Your critique of the Time-of-Possession being lopsided is much more the fault of the offense than the defense ...... it was similar to the days of when Dan Marino's Dolphins would score quick TD's and subsequently gas the Dolphins' defense because of that ...... but the difference here is that Flacco and the Colts' offense was not doing anything except Punt, Punt, Punt, Fumble, INT, Turnover on Downs, Missed Field Goal, Field Goal, and Field Goal ....... your critique of the TOP being the fault of the defense in this game could not be more misplaced.

So your rage about the Colts' overall performance in this game is understandable, but your slaughtering of the defense, a defense that kept the team in the game until the final minutes of the 4th quarter in spite of an absolutely dreadful performance from the offense, could not be more inapt.

Being a State of NY resident, the season could be considered not bad if they managed to take 1 or 2 from the Jets. My low point was in 1969 when what seemed like an invincible team lost to the Jets in the Super Bowl. There's been a lot of ugly losses since then, but two SB wins as well. Bottom line, win, lose or totally suck, this is my team. I cheer the laundry and that's not gonna change.

Bubba Smith went to his grave insisting that Earl Morrall threw that game !!!

That's because he did.

Darnold had his career high completion %. This seems to happen nearly every fucking week with this defense. Constantly the opposing QB is having the best night of their career against us. Through 9 games, NFL completion % is 65.2%, completion percentage against the colts- 70.1%. 5 fucking percentage points more than the average!

This defensive scheme is complete dogshit, it is a fucking joke. It begs the OC to just be disciplined, not even attempt to hit us deep, just death by 2 trillion cuts, keep them on the field and eventually break them through exhaustion- and it works over and fucking over and fucking over.

I don't give a fuck how many sacks they have, how many Int's, how few points they give up overall, the fact of the matter is this defense consistently allows these 6+ minute double digit play drives leaving the offense- which yes I agree it is completely fucking fetid, but nonetheless leaving the offense just playing the role of spectators for much of the game. It has been like this all damn season, it is bullshit!

Steichen is rapidly proving this is all too big for him. His schemes are so misaligned, it is not at all complimentary football and it fucking sucks!

Well, then you clearly are not at all objective about what you are saying.

People who judge defenses care about sacks, INT's, and points allowed.

You apparently like being angry and shouting at the top of your lungs about anything and everything ...... that's fine, but it isn't very interesting or compelling in regard to discussing football.

People who judge defenses care if the team wins. Ballard doesn't do that and apparently neither do Steichen or Irsay for that matter, otherwise Gus Bradley would be in the soup line this morning.

This is the worst scheme in the NFL by a wide margin. It mandates the offense be outstanding to win games, and we aren't an outstanding offense, we aren't even a mediocre offense. Terrible mismatch of philosophies by the HC.

This is one of the most absurd things that you have said, and that's saying a lot.

Last night, the Colts had what was by far their worst offensive game of the season, and yet they had possession of the ball and were down by a score of 14-10 with less than 6 minutes left to play in the 4th quarter. And that was solely because of the defense, which scored 7 of the 10 points that the Colts had on the board themselves. If the offense had been even average in last night's game, the Colts would have won the game. They didn't need to be anywhere close to "outstanding."

If you want to be obstinate, say that you don't care what the numbers say, and make hyperbolic declarations, fine, but I'm not going to continue to engage you in your ranting.
