you can sign high dollar guys that come in and fit the team. just like bringing in guys like butler that become part of the family of colts.

nobody is saying bringing in all the free agents. i would just have liked to have seen at least 1 difference maker with the money we had.

To be fair the example you gave in Butler is exactly the type of guy Ballard has brought in.

And can we go ahead and temper our expectations for Sheard now? I know what he was signed to do but there's a reason he wasn't given a $60+ million contract, we shouldn't expect him to get us 10+ sacks a year.

You missed what I was saying. Butler was a free agent that fit this team like a glove. There is no reason a guy making big money can't as well

There is at least one report that they tried to sign Poe. If that report is true, they did try to sign at least one "big money" guy. You can't force a guy to sign here though.

I agree

He wasn't the only option

Looks like the limp dick GM did something. This is why it's ridiculous to freak out so early in free agency.

That isn't freaking out. That is stating the obvious. You little bitches think every time someone doesn't agree he is freaking out. Stfu and learn to think for yourself

I have to tell you, you have become the worst part of this board.

Feel free to call him out, but that was far from freaking out.

FatDT 04-13-2017 11:57 PM

Nah he freaked out a little.

Indiana V2 04-14-2017 08:24 AM

True but even before getting Hankins the team had gotten younger and faster with the front 7 on defense improved over last year without even getting to the draft. Add to that a quality depth piece for the o-line, probably the #2 or #3 receiver as well as already making the injury report much less reading material by getting rid of Allen.

I won't attest as to the status of the new GM's dick.....Omaha already has inspected that apparently but in no way is the team worse than last year.

Blasphemer!

You most certainly freaked out, overreacted, however the wording, it's still the same. You overreacted very early on in free agency, so now you get to eat some crow for calling the gm a limp dick gm because he didn't make the moves you wanted on your timeline.

No. I absolutely do not.

This still isn't a move I wanted but I will take it. I believe he will be a good player.

Well too bad. You aren't getting Dwayne Allen back.
