He missed an assignment on a bomb just now ...... he was the free safety, and he didn't get back there when he had time to.

Josh Allen is a beast!

CletusPyle 01-19-2025 09:46 PM

Great game....21-19 Bills going into the 4th!

CletusPyle 01-19-2025 10:00 PM

Neither of these teams look good enough tonight to beat the Chiefs!

CletusPyle 01-19-2025 10:15 PM

Smart move....kick the FG!

But a mediocre call on 3rd down, prior to the kick.

That said, I think that the Bills were robbed on the spot on the previous play ...... I thought that the ball should have been spotted at the 1-yardline, not the 2-yardline.

I agree, I hated the play call! I won't be surprised if Baltimore ties this up!

The Ravens chased the points earlier in the game, and missed a 2-point conversion ...... subsequently, instead of being down by 7 points they are down by 8.

Don't chase the points until the final 7 or 8 minutes of the 4th quarter.

o

Racehorse 01-19-2025 10:33 PM

Missed 2 point conversion. Bills are in charge.

CletusPyle 01-19-2025 10:33 PM

Wow Andrews has not had a great game, had a fumble earlier and now he drops the tying 2 point conversion pass right in his hands!

Buffalo gets the onside kick and this one is over! 27-25 and Ravens are eliminated!

Hate it for them...not! Bills need to get the SB this year.

Is that theory any more evident right now ???

In the Super Bowl Era (1966 through the Present) a Rookie QB has never led his team to the Super Bowl ...... l Jayden Daniels l is one win away from accomplishing that feet.

Daniels claims that he is not thinking about that.

I think that they will win.

Tom Brady is acting closed-minded ...... just because the Commanders went for it and made it twice on 4th down on their first drive of the game, DOES NOT NECESSARILY mean that going for it on 4th down a 3rd time in that same drive would be a good decision ...... they were in chip-shot field goal range, and they took the points.

Brady pooh-pooh-ed the 3 points that the Commanders got ...... I guess he doesn't understand the "Winnie-the-Pooh" theory of putting your hands in the honey-pot once took often, and getting stuck.

o

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 04:24 PM

After all those years on crappy Giants teams Sequon Barkley is very hungry for a championship, I still think the Commanders win!

Colts And Orioles 01-26-2025 05:04 PM

The Commanders chased points in the 2nd quarter ...... I hope that they don't wind up regretting it ...... it just happened to the Ravens last week in their game against the Bills.

The Eagles returned the favor ...... still, if the Commanders had kicked the extra point the score would now be 20-13 instead of 20-12.

o

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 05:35 PM

Washington is looking like a team that has not been to this level before....which they are, at least not lately!

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 06:15 PM

Washington defense cannot stop the Eagles, combine that with the turnovers and this one is getting out of reach!

Colts And Orioles 01-26-2025 06:26 PM

o

Jayden Daniels was dancing in a fancy manner after scoring a touchdown ...... even though his team is losing by a score of 34-23.

Be happy about the TD, spike the ball, and high-five your teammates ...... but dancing around as though your team has an 11-point lead instead of an 11-point deficit shows a lack of perspective.

o

Colts And Orioles 01-26-2025 06:38 PM

o

3 turnovers by the Commanders, and 0 turnovers by the Eagles ...... that statistic may be what sinks Washington's ship.

I felt exactly the same way, why are you dancing when you are still 11 points down!

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 06:57 PM

Turn out the lights.....this one is officially over!:(

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 07:26 PM

Final in NFC Championship game:

Eagles 55

Commanders (Redskins) 23

Washington is eliminated!

Now onto what should be one of the best games this season...Buffalo at Kansas City

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 07:53 PM

Bills looked nervous and sloppy, KC looked determined and ready...7-0 Chiefs!

IndyNorm 01-26-2025 07:58 PM

Yeah, Philly pretty much curb stomped Wash. I was ok w/ that though b/c I had Philly both straight up and in an SGP that I hit as well :D.

We'll see how this one goes for me. Heart's with Buffalo, but my money's on KC.

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 08:28 PM

Buffalo makes the Chiefs pay! 10-7 Buffalo

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 08:44 PM

Just looking at the 2017 draft, Mahomes went #10, Bears drafted Trubisky #2, both the Titans and the Jaguars passed on Mahomes. Titans chose Corey Davis WR from Michigan at #5 and the Jags chose Fournette RB LSU at #4.

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 08:53 PM

Buffalo won't win that challenge, defensive back never had control!

Marcus Mariota was only 23 years-old at that time, and he had just come off of an excellent season in 2016 in which he had 26 TD's, 9 INT's, and a QB rating of 95.6.

Mariota was a mobile quarterback who was playing much better than Anthony Richardson was playing at that same point in his career ...... the Titans may have thought that they had their QB of the future, and I couldn't blame them for thinking that considering the circumstances that I pointed out.

o

CletusPyle 01-26-2025 09:12 PM

Hindsight is always 20/20, I agree that the Titans thought they already had their franchise QB, even the Jaguars believed Bortles was their QB of the future...the team that really blew it was the Bears, Mahomes would likely have done for them what he did for KC, maybe not 2 SBs in a row but would have turned them into a winner for years to come and likely got them a championship at some point!

Yeah, these dummies just never learn. Not really impressed with Mcdummy. Just goes to show what a great QB can do for you.
