They are, the defense just can't seem to close off the perimeter.

TheMugwump 09-15-2024 01:38 PM

Even the tackles for only a yard or two are being made by the DB's. Where is the "strength of the team" d-line?

jasperhobbs 09-15-2024 01:38 PM

Richardson is so inaccurate. Way too early to says this but I'm not sure he will ever be the answer as colts QB.

WaynesWorld87 09-15-2024 01:38 PM

Allowed 164 rushing yards in the 1st quarter. That has to be at least in the neighborhood of the NFL record for the most team rushing yards in one quarter.

Dam8610 09-15-2024 01:38 PM

Franklin and Speed have been really bad the first two weeks.

nate505 09-15-2024 01:38 PM

I'm legit stunned these are NFL players. All the Packers are doing is running, and nobody can seem to figure it out.

DragonTails 09-15-2024 01:39 PM

164 rush yards in the first quarter.

This is like a bad high school defense.

Problem so far is he does it more than he doesn't. I still stand by my statement last year, QB class sucked (Stroud so far not) As much as everyone here wants Richardson to be the future, (Self Included) he is not. He is never going to be better than he is right now. There is a reason he only started 24 games his entire career until this year.

He has to fix the footwork so he doesn't have accuracy issues.

Well, Lamar Jackson couldn't throw the ball his first 20+ games. But Baltimore at least had a defense.

I know.

It's kind of like when Yankee fans pine for George Steinbrenner, conveniently forgetting the reality of his tenure as the team owner.

After Gabe Paul (the Yankees' G.M. from 1973-1977) rebuilt the Yankees back into a power (which resulted in 2 World championships, 4 American League Pennants, and 5 division titles from 1976-1981), George Steinbrenner's insane temper and compulsiveness with BOTH his managers AND his players drove the Yankees back into a pretty good but no longer great franchise from 1982-1988 (7 out of 8 winning seasons, but no playoff appearances), and finally a bad franchise (4 straight losing seasons from 1989-1992.) It wasn't until Commissioner Fay Vincent gave Steinbrenner the boot for 2 years in July of 1990 that the Yankees were able to rebuild themselves back into a power again under the collective guidance of General Manager Gene Michael (1991-1995) and Manager Buck Showalter (1992-1995.)

This is year 8, so if he fails this year, go ahead and fire him. Just be prepared to lose Steichen, Gus, and possibly AR. I remember the 80s...no thanks.

HoosierinFL 09-15-2024 01:41 PM

Packers ready to make us forget about that old 375 game

The most in three decades by the packers.

nate505 09-15-2024 01:43 PM

Most rushing yards allowed in the 1st quarter since George HW Bush was President. Holy fuck.

Spike 09-15-2024 01:43 PM

Gus Bradley plays off way too much, fucking knuckle head. It's freaking M. Willis dumb ass. easy first down again.

I can't tell you how much I hate Gus Bradley. His fucking defensive shit doesn't work in the NFL.

Dam8610 09-15-2024 01:44 PM

Josh Jacobs just saved the Colts season.

Butter 09-15-2024 01:44 PM

This D has no discipline, Bradley sucks balls

Chromeburn 09-15-2024 01:44 PM

Setting the edge is one of the most basic things you learn playing defensive line.

Gus is Pagano level bad.

Well, only if they can mount a drive here.

ChaosTheory 09-15-2024 01:46 PM

Zaire Franklin flexing to the crowd is fucking embarrassing.

WaynesWorld87 09-15-2024 01:46 PM

Great play to strip it, but before that our weak ass defense was going to let Jacobs power through for another TD and create a 17-0 deficit.

Racehorse 09-15-2024 01:46 PM

Lucky break. Better capitalize

DragonTails 09-15-2024 01:46 PM

We're averaging 2 completed passed a quarter.

10 in 5 quarters.

Ballard is in the perfect place. The fan base demands nothing but mediocre because it “could be worse”. Perfect for Ballard

Last Sunday, the Colts and the Orioles both lost.

Today, the Orioles are losing by a score of 3-0 in the 7th inning, and the Colts are losing by a score of 10-0 in the 2nd quarter.

Anthony Richardson, please save me from another double-loss on a Sunday.

Brylok 09-15-2024 01:47 PM

Titans are up 7-0 and Levis just fumbled the ball away inside the red zone again.

dwilli57 09-15-2024 01:47 PM

I'm revising my game win to 4 this year.

That was extremely lucky, but I'll take it.

Spike 09-15-2024 01:49 PM

illegal formation is just a dumb ass penalty. Should never fucking happen.

nate505 09-15-2024 01:49 PM

Good fucking god...

Dewey 5 09-15-2024 01:50 PM

Our OL is way over paid.

Brylok 09-15-2024 01:52 PM

Cam Newton was miles ahead of AR. Good Lord.
