The Texans committed an illegal motion penalty coming out of a time-out to get all of their signals straight, and on the same page ...... that's very lousy fundamental football.

YDFL Commish 09-08-2024 02:03 PM

We win this game only if we get consistent pass rush and Steichen quits stepping on his dick.

Richardson will be extremely eager to prove himself after last year's injury kept him out of more than half of the team's games.

Richardson has learned from last year ...... he will take risks with his body, but only in important situations ..... if it's 3rd down and he is very close to a first down while running with the ball, he will put his head down and fight for the first down, but he WILL NOT do that on 1st and 2nd downs ...... last year, he put his head down and took on defenders on 1st down and 2nd down on numerous occasions, but he will be more prudent than that this year.

o

On that long runjust now, Richardson could have gotten 4 or 5 additional yards, but he chose to slide instead ...... he is definitely learning.

Mitchell was wide freaking open

Dewey 5 09-08-2024 02:08 PM

Well that ends that

Racehorse 09-08-2024 02:09 PM

Terrible throw

CletusPyle 09-08-2024 02:09 PM

Granson fell down, still probably too high, but not all Anthony's fault....

Brylok 09-08-2024 02:09 PM

Good grief

Spike 09-08-2024 02:10 PM

Well, AR with a poor throw after missing a wide open TD. Gotta live with that shit I guess, hope he improves. I believe he will.

Racehorse 09-08-2024 02:10 PM

Time for a defensive score

Thorgrim 09-08-2024 02:11 PM

Our D is designed to bring pressure and force bad throws. I expect to see some turnovers.

ChaosTheory 09-08-2024 02:11 PM

Still too high, but was that another slip?

This new turf looks like an ice rink

Growing pains. As long as he stays healthy, he'll be improving in leaps and bounds. Possibly literally.

Until then, it'll be exciting at least.

nate505 09-08-2024 02:11 PM

Damnit AR.

Well, he definitely makes the game interesting, for good or bad

Brylok 09-08-2024 02:11 PM

The Bears don't look very impressive. 17-0 Titans with 3:44 to go before halftime.

Colts And Orioles 09-08-2024 02:12 PM

o

That INT sucks, but at least the offense got the defense some rest with that long drive ...... that almost always winds up being a factor in the 4th quarter of close games, one way or the other.

Also, the Texans are starting this drive inside of their own 10-yardline ...... time for the Colts' defense top step up and least force a punt before allowing them to get into FG-range.

o

ChaosTheory 09-08-2024 02:14 PM

Ok, that INT doesn't look as bad on AR. Grandson would've been right there if he didn't slip.

Turf looks good but plays like shit.

TheMugwump 09-08-2024 02:14 PM

Maybe break out the longer cleats at halftime.

Like that game in Brazil the other night.

oo

The Bears are going to be tough to beat in this season's Super Bowl, against the winner of the Chiefs-Colts AFC Championship game.

o

Dewey 5 09-08-2024 02:18 PM

Stroud is really good.

HoosierinFL 09-08-2024 02:20 PM

Cross leading the team in tackles is a bad time.

Where are the linebackers on run downs?

Dewey 5 09-08-2024 02:20 PM

No catch

Dewey 5 09-08-2024 02:21 PM

Guess it was a catch

The only way this Bears team is going to the Super Bowl is if they buy tickets.

Racehorse 09-08-2024 02:23 PM

15 seconds????????????????

ChaosTheory 09-08-2024 02:23 PM

Are you shitting me?

nate505 09-08-2024 02:24 PM

These fucking refs are so dumb

Apparently the ref was indeed shitting you

TheMugwump 09-08-2024 02:25 PM

They admitted they were wrong and got it right. Deserves some respect.

ChaosTheory 09-08-2024 02:25 PM

Wow, ref mea culpa. Never happens.

Brylok 09-08-2024 02:26 PM

These refs are ridiculous. What in the world...

Dewey 5 09-08-2024 02:26 PM

Well not a great 1st half but could have been worse.

TheMugwump 09-08-2024 02:26 PM

Hahahahaha... rookie coach mistake.

nate505 09-08-2024 02:28 PM

This is a total shit show.

The Colts' defense was very lucky right there.

He has to stop with the high throws. That ball being high is the reason it was picked instead of incomplete. His accuracy has never been as bad as it's been today. Hopefully he can turn it around in the second half. Also, they need to run the ball more. When they started running was when they started having success. Run it down their throats and win the game.

ChaosTheory 09-08-2024 02:29 PM

I think that whole sequence was technically correct.

I don't know why HOU would run a play, even if the clock was stopped.

Also, how the fuck did Nico Collins not get pulled after that catch? He's wincing in pain, hunched over, and grabbing his helmet while shocking the cobwebs.

They were plotting to screw the Texans over by confusing them, and it worked.
