I just like the kid, and think he'll be a great fit. And while I admit I don't know much about Radunz or Schwartz, I'm not sold on Eichenberg. I know his stats show him not allowing a sack for 30+ games, but if you watched many Irish games, you'll know that Book was under constant pressure from all angles against quality defensive lines, and he was a wizard at escaping pressure and making plays. Eichenberg wasn't particularly stout, IMO. |

Honestly we have an opportunity to have the best guard and possibly the best LT in football on the same dam line, drafting a LT you may get a serviceable guy but I’m talking Blue Wall shit here this could be epic
|
Draft lt and trust cb
|
I am in Arizona and can say to get a fa edge...Lawson... and get the rest. 2 de in fa and a cb. Draft the rest.

We will probably draft back. Lord, I love BDB!

Cheats signed Jonnu Smith for 4/50. Huge overpay.

Of these last three signings, the only one I would have liked the Colts to look at was Okwara. Let the Pats and Bucs spend their money. The more other teams spend, the less cap they'll have left. I can totally see Ballard waiting everyone out and getting several B+ FA to sign on for one or two year bargains because noone else has any space left.
Won't be Trent Williams, but he'll definitely make the team better without hampering his ability to re-sign Leonard, Smith, and next year, Nelson. |

I agree that I think they overpaid. Although they see him as the next Gronk, I will be shocked if he ever posts numbers anywhere near top of the league for TEs. |

I'm not as sure as everyone else that Ballard won't swing big in free agency. Not a huge probability but years ago when he first took this job he talked about how he wanted to build a team. Amazingly enough that is how he has pretty much gone about it. I say this because he said he was against free agency as a way to build and didn't think he would use it until the 'locker' was set. He wanted the right attitude in his locker room. He has that. He will not overpay, but if a free agent is going to get true value for the dollar this is the year it is going to happen. It will be interesting to see how he builds this team. There are so many ways to go about it now that he has acquired the QB (fingers crossed)

Wow, Ngakoue off the board for only 2/$26. Colts could've beaten that easily.
|
In other news, watching the Cheats overspend for marginal talent is delicious.

@RapSheet Source: The #Jets agree to terms with #Bengals pass-rusher Carl Lawson. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1371625529674235904 |

Lawson got 3/45 with 30 million guaranteed. Don't want to spend that kind of coin on that guy.
