You said shredding "US" Maybe you're the weak link in the defense. ;)

WaynesWorld87 12-06-2020 03:21 PM

That was a really weak defensive holding call.

Wow.

TheMugwump 12-06-2020 03:27 PM

Take two more minutes off the clock and score a TD with no time left in the half. Pull the old Belichick move by scoring and getting the 2nd half kickoff.

The penalty that was declined just now saved the Texans their final timeout.

That is potentially a big difference with a little over a minute still left to play before halftime, and De Shaun Watson with the ability to run around like a maniac.

WaynesWorld87 12-06-2020 03:34 PM

1:12...lots of time for Watson and the Texans to go score still before the end of the half.

TheMugwump 12-06-2020 03:36 PM

Love Kenny Moore. Telling them to keep the clock running after that tackle.

ANOTHER DECLINED PENALTY that saves the Texans a shit-load of time, because the runner was tackled in-bounds.

Fuck.

TheMugwump 12-06-2020 03:37 PM

Right through Rhodes hands! Ugh! He baited him and got the pass he wanted too.

nate505 12-06-2020 03:39 PM

I'm kind of shocked they didn't try another play for a TD there. Happy they didn't though.

Spike 12-06-2020 03:39 PM

Rich Gannon sounds like he doesn't give a shit about being there.

The Browns lead the Titans by a score of 38-7 at halftime.

That reminds me just a little of the time when the Patriots beat them by a score of 59-0, back in 2009.

Browns are beating the hell out of the Titans.

njcoltfan 12-06-2020 03:42 PM

Doesn’t do the Colts any good unless they win

Gets us closer to the division title but in the wildcard race, we would still trail both the Browns and Tacks.
Miami losing will help quite a bit

Saints 62-7 Colts game

HoosierinFL 12-06-2020 03:53 PM

Colts d got progressively worse as this first half went on, I hope we continue that pattern of becoming a better second half team.

Thorgrim 12-06-2020 03:54 PM

Good teams win these kind of games. Pussies roll over in the clutch. With a thin receiver corps for the opposition and your biggest obstacle to the playoffs getting spanked you should be playing above your head. I think we win the turnover battle and win by 2+ scores

That stings much more than the previous example.

But unlike the 2009 Patriots/Titans game and today's Browns/Titans game, that was the Peyton Manningless/Andrew Luckless Colts. In hindsight, that 2011 season (along with the 2001 "idiot kicker" season and the 2017 Andrew Luckless season) was an anomaly in the midst of an excellent franchise run with 2 great quarterbacks between 1999 and 2018.

WaynesWorld87 12-06-2020 04:01 PM

We have 12 carries for 29 yards today against an exceptionally bad run defense. Time for DeShaun Watson to come back out and continue tearing apart our pass defense.

HoosierinFL 12-06-2020 04:02 PM

I don’t understand our rb personnel choices some time. Taylor is the hot hand today and we keep forcing it with Hines.

I gotta tell ya, WaynesWorld is a pretty gloomy place. Let's hope they punt.

Spike 12-06-2020 04:06 PM

Fucking refs. I hate those bastards.

It's right there on a platter for them. The stars are aligned. Let's see what they do.

albany ed 12-06-2020 04:08 PM

Titans are coming back.

You can be insufferable in these game threads, you know.

Including the missed 53-yard field goal attempt, that was the 3rd stop by the Colts' defense so far today.

Not great, and not horrible either.

albany ed 12-06-2020 04:11 PM

That should have been PI

I'm usually glass half empty myself, but that poor dude doesn't even have a glass. Man is 80% negative all the time.

Racehorse 12-06-2020 04:12 PM

Knocked TY down and no flag

WaynesWorld87 12-06-2020 04:12 PM

How in the hell was that not PI?

We are not the guys the mob wants to win, so the refs are very bad

Puck 12-06-2020 04:19 PM

Maniac is gonna get a turn over

Racehorse 12-06-2020 04:22 PM

Or Kenny Moore

HoosierinFL 12-06-2020 04:22 PM

Looks like simultaneous possession to me. Gonna go back to houston

Puck 12-06-2020 04:23 PM

This is going to be interesting how it turns out

Wow

TheMugwump 12-06-2020 04:25 PM

Either way, Kenny Moore has had a great game.
