Four defensive penalties that drive. All four were the right call. Our defense is good and aggressive, but their over-aggression directly led to a Titans TD. There wasn't a single bad penalty call by the refs on that drive, so we can't chalk it up to "homer" calls.

nate505 11-12-2020 10:36 PM

Worthless refs and a half.

Thorgrim 11-12-2020 10:37 PM

Got a feeling this game will hinge on halftime adjustments and I’m not sure that’s a good thing.

Typically, I'm the conductor of "fuck the refs" train. However, all four penalties on us during that Titans drive were legit. It could've been a fifth, too, on Gostowski's PAT.

The roughing call was weak, but so it goes in the NFL.

Thorgrim 11-12-2020 10:41 PM

I hate it that we’ve gone back to being that team that depends on a perfect job from the refs. We seem to get screwed a lot but damn.

Eh, go back and watch the replay. We pretty clearly followed through and hit Tannehill after he released his pass. I mean it wasn't a "bang-bang" judgement type call. The ball had been out of Tannehill's hand for a solid second or so.

albany ed 11-12-2020 10:43 PM

TD here and then on the first drive of the 2nd half. That's my hope.

TheMugwump 11-12-2020 10:46 PM

Is it just me, or does TY look a bit back to his old self tonight?

Brylok 11-12-2020 10:47 PM

Hines is balling out tonight

nate505 11-12-2020 10:50 PM

Man, that was one second away from being a disaster.

Brylok 11-12-2020 10:50 PM

Rigo looks like he's not wearing any shoes

nate505 11-12-2020 10:51 PM

I about pulled my hair out when that last flag was thrown. Thankfully it was in them.

He's not what he used to be, but he can still do a job when he's healthy.

WaynesWorld87 11-12-2020 10:53 PM

We're outgaining them 251-156. Tennessee has a slight edge in rushing yards 57-53, we have a comfortable edge in passing yards, 198-99.

It's the damn penalties and the failed 4th down in Tennessee territory on our first drive. The penalties kept a Titans drive alive long enough to lead to a TD, and the failed 4th down took at least 3 points off the board. I know this is hypothetical, but this could/should be something like a 16-10 or 20-10 Colts lead. But we have 6 penalties, for 38 yards, to the Titans 1 penalty for 5 yards.

Colts And Orioles 11-12-2020 10:56 PM

o

I believe that the Colts' offense did a better job of controlling the game than did the Titans' offense, in terms of plays run. The Colts' offense ran 41 plays that half, while the Titans' offense only ran 25 ........ and especially when taking into consideration the fact that the Titans got the ball first to start the game, that's a pretty significant advantage.

I'm hoping that when the 4th quarter comes around, that winds up being a factor in terms of which teams' defense is more rested.

I believe your right. With some decent halftime adjustments and more disciplined play I’m confident we can walk away in the 4th.

Brylok 11-12-2020 11:04 PM

Take off that coat, Joe! Looks awful!

Spike 11-12-2020 11:06 PM

Hines is crazy good.

Brylok 11-12-2020 11:13 PM

Another good, ballsy drive! Pascal. Let's go!

Spike 11-12-2020 11:13 PM

Awesome drive by the Colts. 3 fourth down conversions.

nate505 11-12-2020 11:14 PM

Damn, he's not in

Yep, damn it. Feed Taylor now!

nate505 11-12-2020 11:16 PM

Unreal....

nate505 11-12-2020 11:17 PM

Fucking fucking terrible, so pissed. Such stupid play calling.

DragonTails 11-12-2020 11:17 PM

LOL

What a surprise. Up the middle twice.

The end around was nice.

Brylok 11-12-2020 11:18 PM

Uh-oh. Gotta keep the wheels on and recover from that. Damn

nate505 11-12-2020 11:18 PM

A fucking foot from the goal line and you run plays from the shotgun. Why.

WaynesWorld87 11-12-2020 11:19 PM

We're dominating this game everywhere but the scoreboard, and time is running out. Fuck me.

TheMugwump 11-12-2020 11:19 PM

If this o-line was as good as folks say, these 4th downs wouldn't be even close.

If Reich was as good as he used to be, we'd be up 10.

Should have kept mean old Dave DeG.

WaynesWorld87 11-12-2020 11:20 PM

Now the Titans are probably about to run 7+ minutes off the clock on their way to another TD and take a two score lead.

This is going to be an extremely frustrating loss if we don't come back and win. We've utterly dominated for 2.5 quarters everywhere except for where it counts.

albany ed 11-12-2020 11:21 PM

Autry!!!!!!!!!

nate505 11-12-2020 11:21 PM

Good defensive response

TheMugwump 11-12-2020 11:21 PM

Big play from Autry.

albany ed 11-12-2020 11:21 PM

They're already in FG range!

I still have faith in him, but I can't believe how bad those play calls were.

Brylok 11-12-2020 11:23 PM

Great response. Wheels are intact. Excellent punt is a bonus
