Same here, I hadn't heard. It's that kind headspace he'll need to get somewhere. Humbleness, but also a chip on your shoulder.

He seemed different after the benching. Hopefully he stays grounded and understands how much work it will be... but also pissed off to the point where he can't miss a day.

He had decent scores as a run blocker and could tranlate better as a run & pass blocker from the interior. Running the ball inside consistently and stopping inside pressure would go a long way to getting the best out of AR.

Fries could come back healthy and ready to play and that isn't bad for competition or depth.

Kelly to me is the one to go. His run blocking was pretty poor last year and believe Bortolini will develop quickly.

fries is a damn good rg.

if we bring him back, he is the guy. moving smith at this point is dumb.

Fries has started one full season, is coming off a major season ending injury and is a free agent. The contingency option to renegotiate a cheaper short term contract for an aging player that can still play RG at a decent level and also back-up RT is clearly a ridiculous option.

Smith would be a good depth swing guy for the right side, albeit expensive at his current contract.
