Agreed. What a complete turd he turned out to be.

It's like I said yesterday: I bet a lot of the players have grown sick of it. More than we'd guess. I'm not mad at 'em.

I can't blame guys for wanting to move on, but be an adult about it. Not a little bitch by airing your butt hurtness on Twitter.

Don’t like this move

Rebuild was necessary and if it’s with a promising young quarterback, it’ll be a hell of a lot better than last year, even if they win fewer games.

A rebuild is necessary if you admit the last rebuild has failed and needs to be restarted. Otherwise it looks like a continuation of Ballard’s “maybe next year” philosophy. I hope Ballard learned something from the failure and is trying again with a different philosophy.

When is the last time a new coach came in and didn't clear what he deemed dead wood? Anyone who didn't expect big turnover was fooling themselves. In this NFL rebuilds can happen in a minute, if that is what this actually is.

I certainly understand why some of the guys may be moved (Kelly, Moore), but Gilmore wasn’t dead wood. Moving Gilmore is a signal they are still planning for the future and not trying to win this year. It’s somewhat understandable with a rookie QB likely coming in. However the argument has been they were building up the rest of the roster to support a rookie QB and to be ready when they got their QB. That’s how people have defended what they’ve done. It’s a questionable move that isn’t simply related to new coach - especially when the DC and scheme are the same.

The rebuild should have started right after Luck up and quit. It didn't, and that's when the patchwork stuff began. Now that's worn itself out and the original rebuild has to start. Ballard is lucky to still have his job and, honestly, he probably shouldn't.
