They are. Mainly of the misses of his drafts especially passrush and his stubbornness in refusing to sign a free agent to help. How it’s holding back the teams. What I’ve been saying for over a year now.

Maybe you disagree and think that a fourth round pick that plays in one game and shits his pants then gets canned is a good use of a fourth round pick. I don't and I don't mean a fucking thing more than that. You really are Ballards bitch if this bothers you. I would venture that Ballard would agree with me. I said nothing about this as a judgement on him as a GM. You took that all on your lonesome so you are arguing with no one. I happen to think Ballard is one of the best GMs in the business. This was a wasted pick.

Got your message late

Go back 25 years and look at the past draft picks. All the stats and analysis still come down to a judgement by a person. Easy to use hindsight, but from where we sit we do not have all of the info that a modern NFL franchise has at its fingertips.

Eason is headed back to Washington state. The Seahawks claimed him off the waiver wire.

Per Mike Garafolo, QB Jacob Eason has been claimed by the Seahawks.

Eason finds a 53-man roster home (on a team dealing with an injured QB) with his hometown team.

He's off to Seattle. That didn't take long. Good luck to him.

I was an Eason fan before/when they drafted him But if he cant develop under Reich there is an issue.

IMO he wont last in Seattle either. Lots of talent no brain....

And fr all of you that were calling for Eason in the pre season..... Just sayin. As fans we know little about reality on the Colts and the NFL

Stop making sense

Whether or not Eason lasts in Seattle is IMO irrelevant. You point out the Colts are closer and know more than the fans. Fair point. However, it was the team who had him as the primary backup all the way up until he actually needed to see the field. It was the team that put a guy they obviously don’t trust in a position to lead a potentially game winning drive. It was the team who didn’t pursue a vet while telling us how comfortable they were with Eason being the starting QB week 1. While having a injury prone QB and many in the media calling for a veteran backup. Any fans calling for Eason were likely influenced by the team’s incompetence or out right lies about the situation. Not sure why you’d be calling out the fans and not the team.

Personally I don’t see how anyone can look at what the team has done at the backup position and defend them, let alone call out the fans.

Well I am gussing it took them some time to figure out he was just stupid. But they gave him a chance due to his abilities.

I think we all have hope for stupid people and hope for the best Take Omaha for instance. I have hope even though deep down inside I know he's always gonna be stupid

Oldcolt 10-21-2021 07:42 PM

He may not be stupid, just unable to visually process quickly. Doesn't take smarts to be a great QB, Unitas wasn't exactly a genius.
