-   -   Would you give up 3 first round picks for Watson? (http://www.coltfreaks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=116820)

I’d be ok with it, although it will never happen.

Watsons contract would be offset at least somewhat by not having to pay 3 first round picks. And I think Watson playing for Reich would be significantly better than Watson playing for BOB.

The title of this article could be applied to numerous teams regarding the potential acquisition of Deshaun Watson, in addition to the Jets ......

Jets Should Be All-In on Texans' Deshaun Watson, but Reality Could Stand In the Way

Won't happen, so it doesn't matter.

The Jets might be able to swing that kind of deal. If they do, maybe the Colts can still get Darnold for cheap.

I would easily give up 3 #1's for the guy. Will never happen however.

Dakich just said he heard Ballard inquired about Jordan Love

And based on the happenings of the offseason, the Texans would have the ability to challenge his right to pay under the CBA.

If the options for the Texans are that or nothing, they might choose that. Probably not, but who knows?

So... yeah. His leverage is minimal and ultimately, if he is refusing to play football for the Houston Texans, Cal and Co. will be deciding whether or not he's going to play football next year.

If he's not willing to retire, he has no leverage.

What the fuck? No way are you getting him for less than a 1, and Love isn't worth that. He's toolsy, but IMO he has just as long of a way to go as Eason does. Fortunately for the Packers, they have an all-time great to hold down the position while he develops. If you're looking to spend a 1 on a QB, just draft Mac Jones in April.

I don’t know much about Mac, but I’d rather have the guy that got to sit and watch id be happy with it. It’s all rumors but atleast we know Ballard is exploring
