Do you know why its better to pay OT than guards? Its because its a passing league. If you cant pass pro on the edges against the best D players (DEs), who cares what you have inside?

Oh, and about the money, it doesnt matter. If a team wants to keep someone, they figure it out

I know tackles get paid and why but I guarantee Nelson will be making more than most tackles when his contract comes up. Point being, guards get paid big bucks now and Nelson is going to raise the bar considerably. He is that good.
